The new QV with the updated digital dash along with the cheaper price tag is hard to beat.

Well, don't cherry-pick. The Grecale has a way better infotainment system, better sound system, Heads Up Display, better fuel economy, wireless CarPlay, and ventilated seats. Yes, the Grecale is more expensive but it's worth the extra. The only things the Stelvio Quad has that the Grecale Trofeo doesn't is remote start and a physical gear shifter. THAT'S IT.

I just got one of these a few weeks ago. It's a better car than the Stelvio QV. The air suspension alone makes this handle better, never mind the glaring difference in quality inside. The Stevlio QV is a great car as well but this actually competes with and exceeds the overall package of the Macan GTS whereas the Macan GTS is still a better car than the Stelvio QV.

Well, an Alfa Romeo built by Maserati standards with an up scale interior, the only thing not to like would probably be the price tag. 😊

This is the one Maserati I would take over the equivalent Porsche. This is also more desirable than the Levante to me.

Nice overview Ron. Aero 2 is only available in corsa mode or when you are going over a certain speed. I think over 116 mph or something like that. This is also the case for the levante as well.

Isn't it weird that the grantoursmo and grecale sounds better than the mc20 supercar? Yes the mc20 has some nice turbo wooshes but the others have crackles and pops and appear louder.

I drove it on Saturday. It is indeed the much better Stelvio, but I find it very hard to compare from a sportiness point of view. This gives me some headache to choose because of the weight due to larger size of the grecale. The Stelvio is certainly more agile driving it, but the Grecale offers the things that I miss on the Stelvio

As a Stelvio sprint and a Levante GT owner, I would take this Grecale Trofeo over the Stelvio QV in a heartbeat!

Yes, the Grecale is more expensive but to me, it might be worth the extra. The ONLY things the Stelvio Quad has that the Grecale Trofeo doesn't is remote start and a physical gear shifter. THAT'S IT. I have a 2022 Stelvio Quad myself but in 2026 I'll have my eyes to trade-in for a 2025 Grecale Trofeo if I can find one with low miles

Ron, before your time, in the 1960's and 70s, Ford had the Lincoln and Mercury brands. The Mercury's were actually Lincoln's but the Lincoln's cost a lot more. People were paying for the badge. Now in 2024 Stellantis is doing the same thing with Alfa Romeo and Maserati. I would never buy this over the QV. Alfa has more heritage too. I don't think the Maserati brand is more prestigious than Alfa Romeo.

Beautiful SUV the Grecale. The steering wheel does not come in different “flavors” lol. It’s the same across all trims. And the blue start/stop button is NOT a trofeo “special” it’s a 2024 update. This guy just says whatever comes to his mind and claims it’s fact.

Problem with the Grecale in Trofeo outfit, is that it's just not beautiful enough. The Stelvio Q looks so much better. The Grecale is to plain, to boring and doesnt look soecial. The Levante Trofeo even looks better, even after all these years. In standard form, the Grecale is already better...

The Stelvio is a bit behind. It lacks: - air suspension - big infotainment screen - 360 camera - ventilated seats - HUD - ambient lighting - rear climate control Most items are just nice to have, but we can’t have them on the Stelvio even if we want them. The Grecale probably also offers better and quieter quality ride.

Yes, for that difference in price, this Grecale is not worth the extra money. The Stelvio QV is an exceptional SUV for the price. I'd select that myself over this over priced Maserati.

no the Stelvio is better.. simply because... Maserati copied the STELVIO but made it heavier and more sluggish.. but RON its not your fault.. you arent really an ALFISTA.. nothing personal

Your reviews are great. My issue is Maserati. They are ruining their name. They got rid of the Ferrari engines. They went with these smaller engines and pretty soon, all electric. HUGE mistake by Maserati. They need to get back on board with performance v8 engines and more aggressive and exotic styling. Go back to their roots.

It’s not a Stelvio just because it has the same platform. If that’s the case every car companies lineup is the same as the rest. It’s bigger and wider than the Stelvio. Different engine and driveline. Different body and interior. It’s not a Stelvio.
