who else is more annoyed by that warning triangle rather than screen... I really missed the physical buttons, these funky looking tech is so impractical to use I was so surprised the car that cost too much can have the stuck screen. it is just so impractical in case of emergency situations

That's the issue everyone who loves cars is concerned about these digital screen getting stuck and hence disabling driver from extracting the most out of his car. Someday one glitchy software update will leave you stranded on a side of a road ( especially if you are in an EV)

Mercedes needs to understand that too much of tech isn’t good. Removing almost 99 percent of the physical buttons and adding bulky and laggy screens isn’t cool at all… trust me this will severely affect the reliability of the newer models and the service bill is gonna booooooom ………………………Proud to be the owner of Mercedes e class 2021 at least when the interior was legit) 😂… definitely going for a 7 series next….

In India, we donot get the base line trim. It's the engine options which are limited but it comes with most of the kit except 2-3 things.

In Germany, where u r reviewing this car, this base variant is spec'ed for the taxi market. In Europe Mercedes developed a nasty image in the early 2000s for the glitchiest electronics. Looks like they they are going back to their old ways😂

If they keep removing buttons like that in few years there will be no difference between Tesla and them. Nowadays cars have more technology than cars have "CARS". (If you know what I mean 😂) This simple things like AC and driving mode shouldn't be in the screen, we can do premium designs to make buttons look good. SEE now you understand why I was screaming out for buttons.

@Siddharthchari It does not cost that much in Germany, here in Germany it starts from €62,000 which is about 56 lacs INR and you can chose to have charging ports at the rear, i think it is a €600 option, this specific car is not fitted with it but most people who order one they do choose the option of rear charging ports.
