Small Hatchback vehicles play a vital role in our lives. They used to be an affordable choice that bring people from point A to B, but now, they are equipped with better features that can out perform sedans. It is a perfect car for newbie drivers that makes driving a lot easier due to its compact size. I hope this model known as PICANTO (Morning) will be sold here in the Philippines, again. Although it costs 705K Pesos in Korea, when it comes, it will probably be somewhere near 705k but with lesser features.

As an enjoyer of funny tiny hatchbacks like this (I liked the previous versions we had here before it got phased out, legitimately a cool tiny car), the Wigo, and even the S-Presso, I'd definitely like a return of the Morning/Picanto here with this new facelift. Siguro pati na rin yung new i10s overseas from Hyundai!

This looks way better designed than the Wigo. But I love the design joke too of having a vanity mirror for the driver and none for the passenger.

Nice it also have sun roof, however it's the availability and the pricing of the maintenance and replacements of parts thats what makes the toyota the most practical vehicle in the Philippines

Di nga mabenta yung previous generation na Picanto, yan pa kaya? If its not selling then they wont bring it over to the Philippine market 😅 People will still prefer the Wigo kahit basic sa lahat ng basic lang yun.

bought my daughter a 2018 KIA Forte in 2019 (her first car while in High School). The single worst purchase I've ever made - it hasn't been stolen or burst into flames [yet] but our insurance premiums in Illinois are more reflective of a luxury sedan than an economy vehicle. Someone please start up a second class action lawsuit to address both Hyundai/KIA negligence on behalf of ALL owners irregardless of theft, fire, etc. Owner insurance premiums totaling nearly twice the cost they should be isn't fair. They shouldn't be allowed to sell vehicles in the U.S. until this is addressed.

@@endoftheworld29 the previous design and models aren't this fully loaded, if they did drop this to PH this will top any car on it's segment like WIGO, BRIO, S-PRESSO or even the SONET. KIA is afraid people will choose this over their SONET at its price point.

Mostly Filipinos buy cars with the minimum usage of ten yrs + . They were looking for higher grounds clearances , a simple good 4 cylinders , and durable underchassis because of the road conditions. They were afraid of experimental 3 cylinders type engine. Any esthetic features were not important. Because theres a lot of car accessories stores to depend on added features in the car later.

Meanwhile mirage is like the second best selling car in the market and its 3 cylinder. So i think it doesnt matter now. And raize is also a 3 cylinder btw and its the 5th best selling car in 2023. I think the reason why kia wont be more popular than the wigo is that people still think korean cars are still unreliable even though they are comparing models 10 to 20 yrs ago that are still running today.

My suzuki ignis 1.2 litre 4 cyclinder cruises at a 100kph at 1800 revs gets up to 110 kilometres per gallon {4.5 litres) Will tow 1000 kgs (braked). Made in Japan. Picanto is a great looking little motor car but its not versatile enough for me.

@@mkmikekyle6929yeah if the car is not made in China. they won't bring it in, sample all of VW's lineup is from China. Including now under Kia the Seltos and the Stonic. Nothing wrong with them from China except they are 1 to 2 generations backwards from current. Unlike what Toyota is bringing in.
