CBS is a joke. This pick get's an A- but the pick in the first round getting arguably the best CB in the draft at 24 is a B?? SMH

CBS is using the logic that they "overpaid" for a 24th pick. The issue is they didn't overpay for what is arguably a 10-15 pick. Where most draft boards had him rated in terms of best available player.

ETA: Sorry, didn't even realize it was this long =-) Much appreciated......this is what this front office has done in the Holmes_MCDC era. It's actually kinda insane - Penei Sewell - Sun God St Brown (3rd rd!) - Aiden Hutchinson - Jahmyr Gibbs - Sam LaPorta - Brian fng Branch (2nd rd!) - Jamo (just wait lol) - Kerby Joseph - James Houston (6th Rd lol) - Jack Campbell - Darion Arnold - Enis Rakestraw (2nd Rd!) And there are more than a few left off here that have come in later rounds that have unquestionably performed at a level beyond that of the average player from those respective rounds. I still can't believe any of this is real. Those first 7 can objectively be considered as top 5 players in their position. St Brown is easily top 5. Sewell is the best OL in the NFL, and that's me checking my bias at the door. Sam LaPorta is already top 3 T, and just had arguably the best rookie season for a TE of all time. Name a player who's clearly better than Hutch!

Wow, the DB position now has studs and depth. Once the draft is done, let's see if they go get a FA who is unsigned at a position they haven't drafted (as of now that could be Edge or OL,) to add more depth. With the picks that they have left, they are late enough that those players drafted likely wouldn't be starters but backups and potentially replacements once a starter is gone. Going CB twice says to me that they are counting on a returning Houston and the FA pickup of Davenport to offset the double (and sometimes triple) teams on Hutch. Wow, I didn't see this coming, but then that's a BH speciality...never let anyone know what he's got cooking.
