I've been thoroughly enjoying this gear from Norrona and wanted to share my experience thus far. It's not cheap, but the performance is all there to match the price. It's certainly one of those scenarios where you get what you pay for.

Love Norrona gear. There's both a Tamok Gore-tex Pro bib and a Tamok Gore-tex performance bib. The GTX Pro bib is looser fitting in the seat and thighs than the Performance bib in the video. Also, the Lofoten Gore-tex Pro jacket is still long but not as long as the Anorak if anyone is concerned about the length of the anorak. The Norrona website also has great prices on their outlet sales for last season colours, 50% off or more.

Norrøna is just amazing. I have many of there products from winter gear too hunting gear.

For those new to the bib tribe… Bibs have all the fit challenges of pants and shirts, so be prepared to try on a few different sizes and styles.

My back/butt area gets cold because my jacket isn't long enough.. I even got some bibs rather than my ski pants and I think it is more about my jacket not being long enough..

I'm 5' 8" and athletic build around 175-180 pounds. Do you think a size Medium would be OK for me if I want to potentially layer underneath? Thanks!

Jeff's a bit taller and a bit lighter and he found the Large to be roomy. I bet you're a medium keeping layering in mind.

Well those are some high tech jacket/bib... but check the price ... $850 and $600. Oh man I always laugh at people buying those expensive ski jackets/pants (when driving a tiny Kia) don't get me wrong i believe kia makes great cars

Keep in mind, too, that there's always something more expensive. Some of the outerwear these days pushes the price just to push the price.
