I went to the Phatmoto website and these are actually pretty reasonably priced. With upgraded carb and exhaust, about $1200 shipped. Thanks for the video. Saw the notification yesterday, and when I opened it, it said "private". Was happy to see it pop back up.

I was assembling bikes for Academy Sports and Target and my company furnished hooking letter openers with blades for removing tape, paper, and plastic from the unassembled bikes. Still use them after 15 years.

I have an original Phat Moto pedal bike- before they put motors on em! I'm going to chop it out and rake it and find the biggest fastest elec motor I can! Been planning it for yrs now- finally started on it a few week's ago! I've made a chain configuration for doubling the 7 speed gears and running a hubless rear wheel! I'm working on a suicide shifter at the moment! Next step after that is the frame chop and rake- then fabbing a springer front end! P.s. if you find an exercise bike, the seat is almost twice the size and they work great on Phat Moto bikes! Way more comfortable on us older bigger fellas trust me!

Anytime that you're ins 24:10 talling a small engine you always run the bolts up from the bottom because the vibrations will keep the nuts tight if you run the bolts from the top down the nuts will unscrew from the vibration of the engine will unscrew the nuts that's why you always put the bolt in from the bottom to keep them tight

That bike is really awesome. You know what else is really awesome? The grilled cheese cheese burgers I made today. What I do when I seat fat tires is as they are inflating with my little rechargeable compressor, I pull up on the tire until I feel it seating in the rim and as it's inflating the rest of the way, I work the tire back and forth all over the rim to make sure it's perfectly lined up and I can feel it as it's seating.

@@isaacitllbefine7231yeah I didn't know you had a channel either. Definitely subscribing. Hey did your all terrain have that clutch shake really bad before fully engaging? Mine did quite a bit before replacing two of the four clutch springs with the white ones to push the full engagement out to 2400 rpm. That reduced it quite a bit. How much do you weigh Isaac?

When that dinky plastic chain guide wears out you can go to tractor supply and get a pulley for a lawnmower deck that will last much longer . Of course you will need new hardware to fasten it . Also if that chain stretches fast you can get a #415 nickle plated chain from tractor supply as well .

@bassw17584 ай бұрын
My biggest complaint about the Phatmoto is they still haven't added a freewheel to the engine side yet, they're just so noisy when they coast, can't appreciate the sound of the engine. The 7 speed on the bicycle side is a little counterproductive too, but that can be fixed with a 16t freewheel.

i love the engine breaking and 7 speed set up. much faster pulling steap hills. 🍻

Everyone online says these things just fall apart like the bearings are bad or not greased, bad spokes several things I almost bought one on sale they look amazing but I'd like Issac & his brother who I trust ( obviously great guys) to put some miles on one weekly on their own and tell us what breaks later
@isaacitllbefine72315 ай бұрын

ive been phatmoto'ing daily 4+ years. 1000s of miles. bearings need greased and replaced. basic motor bike maintenance. even a pedal bike needs rear axle bearing replaced after, well for me a year or so. i took all my bearings apart and greased them. i oil the clutch bushing and #35 chain daily. i highly recommend. hope that helps.🍻

I'm guessing the version with regular bicycle tires is faster due to weighing less and less rolling resistance. Would be even faster with some Vee Speedster's on it (my favourite bike tire). That'd be the first thing I'd do if I bought one (well, next to putting my big old Person's saddle that I believe came off of a Whizzer on it). Not sure if they even ship these to the UK. Would probably cost a fortune if they do and the bike and/or engine getting damaged in shipping would be a concern. Also, my condolences for your loss.
@niteshades_promiseАй бұрын
