I had a set of those TAJ ceramics. They came out really nice. The PCF DB is made by Matsui. It's the same material that their high-end plaques are made of.

About 20 years ago I bout a $200 set of clay chips called “all in “ that came in a decent black metal case and honestly even though they were not top of the line chips I loved em. I look all the time and can’t find a set ( new or used ) anywhere They were amazing budget chips and I would love to have a set again

Wow, I just literally posted that exact same scenario. I bought about 700 chips from All-In Chips brand but it looks like they went out of business. I did a search and apparently there has been a few forum threads discussing these chips, how they went out of business and they are occasionally finding them for sale on Facebook marketplace or ebay. I hope I can find some reasonably priced but I can't believe how much people charge for chips sometimes. I found a current ebay post for $4/chip for 10 chips...I'll pass.

So a question for you guys, i‘m tinking about getting a nice poker set and everything that goes with it. Does is make a difference whether i play on a poker mat or not? I know it does at like casinos from what i‘ve seen but these thin mats you can buy online are what i‘m nor sure about. I‘m of course not trying to buy an actual poker table, our (normal) table is plenty but apart from a visual experience do they provide anything else? Because if i‘m going to invest in good chips might as well get a good mat yk? Also they are close to 100$ on the website i‘m currently looking so no so cheap yk?

just bought a set of dunes , watching one of your older videos earlier. Mostly happy with them but an inconsistency in texture is one thing I experienced like some of them feel almost a little chalky and give it good texture an grip. While like my 1$ blues feel almost like plastic and they are very slick , im sure some more use and finger oils/dirt will give them some more grime. But its just odd that some of them feel like a completely different chip, until I watched your (5 things I hate) video I thought I had been scammed an they made some of them out of a cheaper material.

What do you think of the current Paulsons on Apache poker chips right now particularly the “1000 Majestic Star Casino Paulson Poker Chips”. Are those a good value you think?
@markthepackerfan13214 ай бұрын
I have three sets. Casino Royale, Crown Wheatear's, and Poker Tournament (you reviewed them 2 yrs ago). The Casino Royale chips are too heavy and do have that smell although they look cool. I rotate using the Wheatear's and Poker Tournament chips. They both do not have metal slugs and feel great. I still like the Poker Tournament the best. I am looking at buying another set and thinking about ceramics.

I bought a bunch of Monte Carlo’s from Apache a few years ago. They’re great, edges smooth. Only thing is I want to get more but my 25$ chips are dark green smooth. I can’t find them anywhere! All the dark green chips aren’t the premium Monte Carlos. I can’t make sense of it. Also, Apache is out of a lot of denominations, what’s another good sight that sells high quality Monte Carlos?

I prefer China clays to ceramics as a medium-budget chip because they have a nicer sound and feel. The only reasons I would ever go for ceramics over China clays is if my chips were going to get an absolute beating or if I wanted a customised set.

Hey there, I've been curious about the difference between 39mm (regular?? sized) and the 42mm option seen as an option for some chips. Whats traditional? Which one is a fad and or what games is each respective sized used for? Also have you considered reviewing any of the Slowplay Ceramic chips? If I remember you did a video on their clay chips.
@damiencb134 ай бұрын
Most chips (and racks) are 39mm. 42mm are noticeably larger but can be a nice novelty, if your case/rack fits them. Both are equally good for poker/craps/etc
