This is such a cool idea! So am I understanding right that the size of the pieces in each block are on the pattern itself and that information won't be in the videos? And color suggestions are on the pattern itself too? I love scrappy quilts!

The sizes won't be in the video. The sizes are in the pattern itself. The block patterns are free on my blog. If you chose to use my setting, you can purchase that from my Etsy shop- jessicadayon.etsy.com/listing/1621207632/2024-scrappy-sampler-quilt-setting In the instructions, there are colors listed as shown in the images. However you can use any colors you'd like.

This sounds like so much fun. Since I started following you, I was in the process of deciding to buy a bernina quilting machine or a longarm. I went with the 770 Kaffe special edition machine. At the moment, I do not have room for the longarm. Would these blocks be something I could quilt as I go? I'm new to that as well so I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing. I'm really excited to learn about these blocks and can't wait to get started with you. I will be following the KZfaq videos as well as Instagram. Thanks for all the tips and tricks. 😊

Just saw your channel today. Will the pieces in the individual blocks be jelly roll friendly, or are there some that would be larger than 2.5" x 6"?

I think there will be pieces that are wider than 2.5". I'm designing as we go so I don't have an exact answer.

Hi Jess, I just found you Chanel and it’s seems really exciting. I would like to look at participating in the sampler but I can see the sizes of the blocks. I know you said they are 6 inches, but what meant was the sizes of the units that make up the block.

I did and I only have the last one I think the orange one to finish. I had so much fun I duplicated some of them too. Thank you so much for showing how you do it. I picked up so many tips. I will be ordering the finishing pattern soon. These are the prettiest blocks. ❤
