Originally Aired: 4/20/24: Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Liz Akama, Momiji Nishiya, Funa Nakayama, and Yumeka Oda all secured spots in the final by making it through the Knockout Rounds! One of them will win the trophy at the first ever SLS San Diego, who will it be?

Every stop is a championship? What's happens at the end when there multiple winners?

Each stop earns the competitors points. The 3 skaters with the most amount of points qualify straight to the last stop, called Super Crown, which is the actual World Championship. The other 3 spots of the Super Crown are filled through a qualifier. The current woman Super Crown champion is Rayssa (2022 and 2023).

why did yumekas first run score so much lower than chloe’s? she did pretty similar stuff and kickflipped the drop instead of 180’d

Sometimes they just get straight up robbed. Notice Yumeka rarely wastes time doing crook nollie flip out after at WST Paris I think they barely have her 70 for it… When years ago Sean malto doing it at sls was a show stopper.

its crazy that the commentary team pronounced "Rayssa" correct, but havent bothered to pronounce "Ribeiro" correctly for YEARS 😂 hes prolly cool with it but it kills me still lol

Leticia is almost twice her age dude. I think Rayssa is already a better, more natural skater than Leticia, but given another 16 years? She's gonna be on another planet if we're being honest.
