Congrats! It took me 6 hours to drive up to Vermont for the eclipse and 10 hours to drive home. The experience wasn't to be missed and I'm happy it worked out for you guys.

I wasn't that far. Drove from Virginia Beach to Buffalo and ended up in Presque Isle State Park in Erie. In fact, we too heard that boat's horn in the background.
