I’ve never really understood why people complain about the 2.5 engine. This is a daily commuter, not a corvette. If you want a high performance car , this is not the car for you. This car does exactly what it was purposed for , daily driver that is good on gas and very reliable. Go get your Lamborghini if that is what you are looking for. This is a tame sedan designed for A to B driving in comfortable affordability.

Toyota's approach has it's ups and downs, but at least they give you the freedom to not pay for the options that you don't want. It's a risk they take to try to accommodate everyone. If you buy a Honda all the features in each trim are included in the price because Honda doesn't want a lot of bare-bones models on the road, so you have to pay out even if you just want some basic transportation.

I am currently renting a 2024 and just did the tail of the dragon. I have to say it handled a lot better than expected. The power was ok. The trans shifts could have been a little smoother. Could use better materials on the steering wheel. Overall I walked away impressed. Just feels very solid and smooth.

I just purchased the 2024 SE all black. I chose it because of the 8 speed transmission, real ignition key (no push start)plenty of power, no turbo, good gas mileage, pedal style parking break, analog gauges and the other nice standard options. My last vehicle was a Regal CXL and I didn't use half the extras (heated seat, dvd player, Bluetooth, navigation etc). I'm 6'3 and it has plenty of leg room for me.

Another quality video Drew and Mason! I really liked my 2019 Camry XSE 4 cylinder when I bought it new! I really, really liked my 2021 Camry XSE hybrid! My 2012 Camry XLE V6 was an amazing car! The 2022 Altima SR I had for 9 months was a pretty decent car as well! I just couldn’t stay away from Toyota quality! 3 weeks ago I traded my Altima SR for a 7th generation (refreshed body) 2017 Camry XLE V6 one owner with just 40,117 miles on it. Blizzard Pearl with the JBL 9 speaker system and dynamic navigation built in! Yep Toyota means too much to me! You both make some of the best quality videos out there! I enjoy these tests, the brothers do a good job. One thing I would like to see, is comments on the suspension set up. Some manufacturers, such as VW and Mazda, are reverting back to rear beam axle suspension instead of I.R.S. You might think most people would not a give a damn about that if it would save them money and you'd be correct. However, if they rode in the back on a bumpy road or you had to take evasive action to avoid a crash, you would be grateful for I.R.S!

May they keep the naturally aspirated 2.5l engine that they’ve been using. As a consumer, I want reliability and longevity. A turbocharged engine may have more power in addition to better fuel economy, but they typically don’t hold up over time like a N/A engine. You wouldn’t get 20+ years/400k miles out of a turbo.

While on car lot cple days ago I went specifically for advertising a 2023 Corolla. A sharp looking Deep gray, with all black trim,tires,hubs.. Sharp & sporty looking. Wireless ApplePlay , Dash esthetics were very bleak. Looking around the lot I came across really cool color Blue,Calvary Blue black trim, grill, giving to the sport look. Turned out to be the 2024 Camry SE I was shocked. a color n trim can definitely change appearance. Always a nice looking sedan never looked sporty at least not to me , until Now. I wasn’t too happy finding out about Apple wireless Sales rep explained about the NG coming out soon but not soon enough for me I NEEDED a Car NOW. And this gorgeous Blue Camry has some awesome features I love. A upgrade package of heated, side mirror, wipers, seats & steer wheel, high beam. Took her for a spin ,perfect for all our needs! As much as I love my Toyota Camry Hybrid the biggest and only thing that bugs me the most is how low the front end is. I run into dips in some areas, rub into cement curbs and cement bumps because it's just low enough to rub against all this doing damage to my Camry's front end all the time. What I wouldn't do for my front end being just 2" higher up! I absolutely love my car, but this is freaking ridiculous where I live and how some of these cement walkways and some of these dips say at apartment complexes where they just don't want you speeding and I have to angle my car so much to avoid this, but a couple there just isn't any way to win. - Anyways, just wish it was a little higher. I don't want my care getting damage overtime.

That's the main reason I keep hesitating on purchasing any new camry. It seems all sedans have been lowered for better performance, but what good is it if you have to keep replacing your front bumper? I have been tempted to get a small SUV (Corolla Cross) or a Subaru for that reason.

I sure hope the future Camrys offer the 2GR-FE as an option, but improved even more. They went from 268 HP to 301 HP from Gen 6 and 7 to Gen 8, so I hope for a bump to 325-ish HP, which they already have on other variants of this engine. This is an excellent engine and makes the Camry a better car. However, less than 10% of Camrys have the V6, so it is apparently it not considered a good value for the over $4k extra price on it for most buyers.

I had ordered the 2022 XSE v6 Camry, and a year later at 12k miles I was hit by a DWI driver whom totaled my car. It was about 42k, and I had put 28k down, so it was more than half way paid off. I wasn’t ok, and super hurt about my car. She even tried to take off after hitting me. I had to jump inside her vehicle, and fight her off, all while getting control of her vehicle to stop her from leaving, and from going under the vehicle and getting ran over. It’s was insane! But anyways I’m in search for a new vehicle again, and I have to admit I miss my XSE v6 Camry. It had it all, and I had no problems or complaints. I took it on a 9 hour road trip to Las Vegas, and I spent maybe $160 on gas each way. Then fam that were in other vehicles following us were super jealous, and wanted to jump on with us. Saying how comfortable, and good we looked in my Camry. I’m not a huge car person, but I know enough to know that the Camry is a good choice. I’ve had two, and just might go back for thirds. Or try the Lexus ES. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Should I?

But again I’ve had two new xse Camry’s already, 2021 one 4c, & then the one that got totaled was the 2022 v6. Maybe it’s time to upgrade to the Lexus, or maybe even something else all together. If the new Camry takes anywhere close to the leap that the new Prius took, it would be worth the wait. Did anyone say when they expect any milestones on the '25, like releasing details, photos, and finally when it hits showrooms? In brands I trust, I've generally been willing to risk going for the newly revised version, unless the current version has some compelling features that you think are going to vanish (like the V6 in this case).

Old school interior in 2023. That's definitely a Toyota thing. It's not necessarily a bad thing. I prefer a traditional shifter. Column shifter or console shifter. And Toyota is one of the few car manufacturers that still have that. I do not care for a transmission shifter to be buttons or a dial rotor nob. And I don't care too much about the electronic parking brake. I prefer their handbrake or the foot brake. I'm old school so the new Camry is more of my thing.

I have to be honest about my stupidity. I was searching KZfaq for 2024 Camry XLE AWD.. I clicked one of your videos and realized half way through I was watching the review about the Corolla XLE. 😂 We are in the process of purchasing the CAMERY XLE AWD... So you can imagine how angry I was getting watching the video about the Corolla.. OMG, NOTHING MADE SENSE... TO SAY THE LEAST.. especially after we just fell in love with the 2024 XLE earlier at the dealership.. I had to delete 4 different comments I made on the Corolla review, because I thought I was commenting on a Camry video.. 😮..I hope you get my "jist", that I honestly thought you guys were reviewing the wrong car because of so many differences in the Camry XLE we had just test drove.. 🤪 I am now a new subscriber BECAUSE OF THIS STORY... 3 yrs ago my spouse and I needed a car quickly because we didn't want to put any money into our older Chevy Impala.. Long story short we decided to do a lease agreement on a 2021 Corolla LE. I am not saying the 2021 Coralla isn't a great little car.. Not at all! I am saying it's just not the size of car, or the type of car I am used too. It was a little to basic (like your video stated). As a child growing up my parents always had the sedan/midsized car.. (1973 and 1980 Cutlass Supreme, back when cars were truly beautiful, Haha).. As a adult we had a plush 1976 Black on black Monte Carlo. Until someone ran straight into the back of it and the insurance totaled it.. That car was so sharp looking that strangers were always telling us how beautiful that car was.. Then I drove a used Chevy Impala for several yrs, because there was no way to replace that Monte Carlo... Fast forward, the Impala finally died and we decided we don't want to mess around with fixing and repairing that car.. Since we needed a car quickly we leased the Corolla LE...Figuring 3 yrs will go fast and then we can proceed forward. With the lease ending we have decided to buy this time. Fortunately, I have ONLY PUT 9k miles on that car in 3 yrs... Its always been parked in the garage and will make someone a great little car. We have pretty decent equity in it at least end. I am a firm believer in Toyota and Honda.. Partially because of how I was raised and partially because they are basically all around dependable... Sorry this is so long, but I felt like the back story of why I was so offended at the Corella video was so important.. Lol Now that I have watched the entire Corolla video and the entire Camry video, I am definitely going to subscribe.. I OWNED A BRAND NEW TOYOTA COROLLA FOR THE PAST 3 YRS, AND I AM IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING A 2024 CAMRY XLE AWD!! I think that makes me qualified enough to say you TWO BROTHERS GAVE THE BEST, MOST THOROUGH INFO ON KZfaq... TRUST ME, I DO MY HOMEWORK... I feel so bad that I was ready to respectfully tell you everything that was wrong with your video and delete 4 comments.. I was so confused... Duh! Because I was watching a video about the Corolla XLE instead of the Camry! You guys really did give ACCURATE VERY GOOD INFO ABOUT THE COROLLA, AND THE CAMRY... SPOT ON! You touched base on everything I would be looking for! I even learned a few things about the Camry we are in the process of buying! So refreshing to see! And much APPRECIATED! TY.

Oh yeah I also meant to say that I would definitely buy a car from you guys! I can't wait to get our new Camry XLE AWD.. I don't know if it's the Pearl White color or what.. But i really felt like that car is so sharp looking it took me back to when cars truly were nice looking vehicles... It reminded me somewhat of the 2 brand new cutlass supremes my parents owned when I was growing up... And the exterior reminded me a little bit of that beautiful custom 1976 Monte Carlo we owned. That thing was in prestige condition even though we owned it several yrs... It was a "head turner"... Cars have changed alot through the yrs.. All I can say is I was planning on a RAV 4, EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT CRAZY ABOUT THE WAY THEY LOOK ON THE EXTERIOR... BUT THERE WAS NO LOOKING BACK ONCE I LAYED EYES ON THAT 2024 PEARL WHITE LUMINOUS XLE AWD! WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE.. 🤷
