Todays video features a 2024 Grand Highlander Platinum dressed in Midnight Black Metal priced at $55,981. Technology is great with dual 12.3" Displays with wireless connectivity, 11 speaker JBL, and Toyota safety sense 3.0. The Platinum is available in to versions the standard 2.4l Turbo here with 265 hp + 22 mpg and a Max Hybrid with 362 hp + 27 mpg combined. What are your thoughts on the new Grand Highlander?

They are having serious issues with the transmissions. They fall apart to pieces in just a few miles. Bought one and after 1500 miles the transmission stopped working. It required a whole new transmission. It was in pieces inside. And if you look into Toyota forums, it’s happening often! And still no fix!

Been looking everywhere for the transmission issues in the GH and can’t find any. Are you sure you aren’t talking about the cx90 which is a very common problem?

@@joelc9329 I know exactly what I’m talking about because we got one! New transmission at 1300 miles, one of the salesmen at the Toyota dealer, also the same issue at 1000 miles, and you can find the info in some Toyota forums! Toyota also is aware of the problem! Ask the service departments! Not sales!

Then get the hybrid. No transmission gears in their hybrid models. No altenater or starter moter either. No timing belt, no accessory belt, no conventional AC belt. There is no power steering pump either. Just get the 10 year 150k mile warranty of their Hybrid vehicles, and you won't need to worry about any transmission.
