I like it. One thing I do wish they did was offer a bench in top trim or, even better, a removable middle seat like the Honda Pilot. Captains chairs aren't a good set up for my family of three kids because sometimes we want to maximize cargo space.

Is the coastal cream pearlescent at all? The local dealer had not seen it in person and said they no longer receive color swatches. Is it more of a flat off-white? Or is there some glitz to it?

Very informative review. However , there was no mention of the handling quality and body roll experience. Drive quality is affected by that and it's an important detail to mention. I'm surprised that the heads-up display won't offer a turn-by-turn for Android auto and Google maps. I use an android phone and it's a bummer to learn that. In fact, most people I know even with iPhones use Google maps. I was wondering if the car has acoustic glass for the windshield. Would be great to find a video that's more informative. Nevertheless, thanks for this one!

thanks for the feedback. You’re correct, I don’t normally give too in-depth driving impressions. I couldn’t test android auto with google maps but would assume it integrates the same. It’s just that google maps via apple Carplay won’t work that way but that’s due to apple and applies to every vehicle. I believe the sunroof has acoustic glass but am not sure about the other windows.

Would have considered a Grand Highlander Platinum until I found the gas mileage with the only available engine is 10MPG LESS than the standard Hybrid. I could use the extra space but prefer the Platinum trim level and will not accept reduced gas mileage. Therefore I will keep my 2022 Highlander Platinum Hybrid which with careful driving delivers 40MPG+ City and 36MPG Hwy.

The problem is regular Hybrid does not come in Platinum trim only Limited as the high trim. That doesn’t make sense.

Hello great channel and awesome video !! I just bought a Grand Highlander and unfortunately noticed some vibration in the hood, the dealer told me that doesn’t seem normal but there is no current recall for that. They recommend to contact Toyota and raise this issue!! Do you know something more about this? Thank you!!

Everything is nice, but JBL sound system on the highest trim though? Really? I've owned and driven several year models of highlanders and the JBL sound system have always been very underwhelming. I wish they would at least upgrade the sound on the highest trim

It is a nicer color in my opinion and it is noticeable especially side by side and looks more premium. I wonder how many people will choose it because if someone doesn’t care too much about the paint they’d just say it’s the same color. The website configuration page doesn’t do it justice to be honest.

ofc, the palisade and telluride are trash when it comes to reliability. So many recalls, and although it may have similar bells and whistles, it's not a vehicle that is built with superior finish.

yeah but you have to leave the vehicle or lock it in order for it to activate the automatic folding mirror function.

Not adventure. Paint match the fenders!! Crazy that sequoias are paint matched. They are the adventure and rugged 3 row. 4 runner is paint matched and is THE adventure vehicle

I am testing Toyota's seats for the past 4 years, Why is Toyota not thinking about comfortable front seats with thigh support for people who are taller than six feet, may feel thighs pain for long drive, also seats are stiff ☹️ Mercedes ,Audi, even Kia are considering and improving of their vehicles seats on these days 🤔😠😢

All Toyota brand (not Lexus) have cheap navigation displays like old style taxi They doing so to keep Toyota look lower then their Lexus Brand But at the end it’s very disappointing and I cancelled the highlander I ordered They should not put so cheap looking displays that overall gives a bad and cheap interior look even you buy the platinum trim which is around 60k cad

BMW X7 is around $115k buddy. Grand Highlander which is comparable tops out the door around $68k with the mark up on the dealer. If I had $100k to spend on a vehicle, I'd still look toward Lexus as BMW is the worst when it comes to Cost of maintaining. Benz is 2 for being the worst car to maintain. You know who are the cheapest out 30 car brands? Toyota was, followed by 29: Scion and 28 Lexus. Which Scion is also Toyota.
