The reasons I wouldnt buy the Trd pro. It’s hilariously overpriced. I don’t want to manually adjust my shocks every time. The seats inside the Trd pro are gimmick and they eliminate the very little back seat room you have.

Better option though Still expensive but around 10k less, OFFROAD with the I FORCE MAX engine and a nice aftermarket lift. Or a ZR2 (50k)

I think the trail hunter is kind of the easy way out, we like to do a lot of the mods ourselves so the trail hunter is a bit too built for us lol

We don’t currently work with any dealers or have a shop set up for modding but we’re working on a shop in Austin that should be done in the next 2-3 years 🤙

I’d love one but man, near 70k? Guess I’m hanging on to my 09 Tacoma til death do us part. With gas over 5$ a gallon and this hybrid is only around 23mpg. Just can’t justify it.

Yeah, it seems like it functions the opposite of a typical car hybrid, where it’s combustion all time and the electric just kicks in to provide more power. Vs something like a Prius, where it’s electric first and then the combustion kicks on when more power/speed is needed

I can not and will not justify the 4cyl turbo engine in a $50k+ truck man, I just can't! Yeah a new truck is fun and all, but the reliability of a turbo powered engine is not good compared to a naturally aspirated engine! Plus the sound sucks, even the sound of the V6 isn't the absolute best. I could justify it if the prices were more reasonable, I was assuming a 4cyl engine truck would top out at 25K as an insane price. I don't care about what seats are in it, or the fancy tech because more tech equals more problems, less reliability, and less ability to fix the problems yourself!!! I will not surrender my V6 Tacoma for a dad-gum 4cyl turbo truck, never ever. Love your guys' company and everything but the new Tacoma is a huge disappointment and an embarrassment to the illustrious name Tacoma, which is now tarnished by these new trucks.

2024 Tacoma only a18.2 gas tank vs 3gens with 21.1 gals ..meaning more trips to the gas stations. Wish it could over 400 miles between fill ups ..sure more weight ..

Yea dude. My 2020 pro rear shocks were replaced under warranty at 30k miles. Now has 48k and all 4 corners sqeak like crazy. And the fronts feel like they're definitely on the way out. The fox suspension has been a big disappointment. Theyll be getting changed out for something else very soon

Best bang for your buck, Bilstein 6112/5160 setup. Affordable, better overall than stock Fox, I’ve been beating the snot out of them on road & off road for 50k miles and they feel as good as new.

We get it, its new and shiny and yall get to play with it before anybody else does. I'm not alone in this. The comment section is swarming with the same questions about pricing. I'm not trying to troll your channell. I enjoy it immensely and will continue to enjoy the content, all I'm saying is that no toyota influencer channel who has these close relationships with Toyota is really talking about the true value vs price and whether or not it's truly worth it and I suspect its because they want to continue that relationship. Inflation is real, but c'mon, this truck is being charged way above inflation numbers.

One honest reviewer of the new Taco who has actually driven the new Ranger Raptor and the GM midsized turbo 4 banger said he was disappointed in the Taco and put it third on the list. You could hear the turbo lag in his test drive vehicle. Let's not forget the most important huge negative, the ridiculous north of $60k pricing!
