I love that you take the extra step to fill in the gaps and sand them. It doesn't make the designs look like a bunch of blocks glued together 😊 I really like the Asian inspired style. Keep up the great work 👍

Love your diy but wood filler and sanding part I don't want to do. I know its a personal preferences. But don't like it.

if you do wood filler with a wet cloth you won’t have to sand- give it a try? And thank you SO much for commenting!

@@jeanneflobergmimicraft2758I don’t really like the extra steps of wood filler either, HOWEVER, I like the finished and professional look it gives whether leaving it plain or painting. I’m definitely gonna try the wet cloth method! Maybe I will enjoy it more. 😉

I felt the same way about filler and sanding until Jeanne put out a video about after she sands she takes the dust with a little glue and shove it in the cracks. Once I saw how great it made the project look I went out and purchased some wood filler and haven't looked back. In fact I just had to get some more this weekend.
