2024 Voyah Dreamer electric MPV in-depth Walkaround
The 2024 Voyah Dreamer stands out as one of the more unique entries in the automotive world. Its design inspiration draws from the mythical Kunpeng bird, resulting in a vehicle that truly embodies that grandeur.
Voyah aptly describes the Dreamer as a "Dreamy Moving Castle." This remarkable vehicle comes in two variants, the Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) and the fully battery-powered Electric Vehicle (EV), with prices ranging from RMB 330,000 to RMB 630,000 (equivalent to €43,300 to €81,600).
The Dreamer EREV impressively offers a range of up to 236 kilometers on a single charge. Moreover, it incorporates a novel generator with an industry-leading claimed thermal efficiency of 45.18%, pushing its range to an astounding 1231 kilometers. In contrast, the pure electric model can cover 650 kilometers without the need for 5.36 liters of petrol per 100 kilometers. It's worth noting that these figures are derived from the CLTC test, so a dose of skepticism is advisable.
The total power output of the system is an impressive 420 kW (or 563 hp), delivering a substantial torque of 840 Nm and enabling a top speed of 203 km/h. The Dreamer showcases an agile acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, a testament to the remarkable speed achievable by modern MPVs. It's evident that we are living in a time where sub-6-second sprints are becoming the norm in the automotive landscape.
