Should all poker tournaments be freeze outs? Are reentries unfair to the recreational players?

You never forget your first…..Boski is the first poker vlogger I followed. Always enjoy the content.

Ah, the classic late-stage flip. Mathematically sound. Just a 50-50 shot at smooth sailing... Big stacks and payjumps. Just 50-50... the flip of a coin... the spin of a roulette... the press of a button. You can almost taste it. All those hours, all that patience. All the good plays, bad plays, bad beats, deck bailouts, good cards, bad cards, and everything in between. Drive-in after drive-in, buy-in after buy-in... all for one late-stage flip. You just need to hit that five-card draw... Until you don't... and you're out. All those hours, all the play, all of the exertion, for a piece of paper and a few extra bucks. Or sometimes, nothing at all. Just the cold stare of your own reflection in the windshield as you quietly drive back home... it was all just a flip away. The tournament life is long, drawn-out, oftentimes cruel and unusual... all for that chance to sit at the top of the heap. Thanks for sharing, Boski. Always appreciate when you cover the live grind.

The play of freeze outs is less chaotic but the loose play in a rebuy is exploitable and it juices the prize pool. There are pros and cons to both. As far as fair or unfair I think it's the players responsibility to understand the game play and the tournament structure I have zero pity for anyone dumb enough to put their money on the table and not have a firm grasp of what exactly it is they are investing in. yeah last year I thought that once we cashed we made it to day 2 ... Also I love that feeling at the WSOP with those fresh late red stacks and you have a mountain literally just scooping them in or doubling them up over and over again

Hyped for Boski’s WSOP ‘24 vlogs… That parking garage Munson was a cooler. The Q8 off call/flop was brutal- w/ an early position raise & you had him covered. And then you got Munson’d w/ pocket 66’s. Stay Hard for that Final Table run! 💪🍀

Avoid all in unless you have the goods. Play in tournaments is walking through a minefield, you have to Tippy Toe. When you accumulate chips like you had at one time about 400k, don't give them away easily! Don't 3 bet unless you have a big pair.

Jeff, I've been following your poker career for awhile now. I think you are extremely talented. I know you will make many WSOP final tables. I'm confident you will win multiple WSOP titles when all is said and done. Keep grinding.

used to play acr somewhat often for a few years, and nothing was better than being in the final few tables, and playing against boski, learning from one of the online's best. about half the time i'd take him down, half the time he'd run the table. best ACR finish was 2nd out of thousands on a $25 entry, got off ACR after that 2nd place to leave on a break even

14:30 is a great example of the minefield analogy. People flatting cold four bets out of position with AJ off😅
