**Please read if you have the same issue I ended up getting a power washer and it took off 98% of the residue,It was10x more easy and effective then the plastic scrapper.****

Bro speaking from an ocd toy owner…Don’t let the light cosmetic stuff ruin your day. At the end of the day it’s a quad and the plastics are gonna get banged up. I keep my stuff real clean and well maintained but within reason. If the tarp caused the scuffing, scrape off as much as you can and then polish it out with a plastic friendly compound. Don’t take too much of the plastic clear coat off or believe me, it’ll look worse. First day I had my new quad I let a buddy rip it and he flipped it and rolled it down a ravine. lol. I cleaned her up and rode it like I stole it every day after.

Same when I bought a 2021 YFZ450R, mine wasn't topped off, had to flush coolant out and put engine ice in mine

Just enjoy your bike and ride it don’t get too crazy with Mods not necessarily need it. I definitely know do you want to hook it up but I definitely know we all can get a little crazy think about the big picture you got the quad take your time and just enjoy it.

Yea I agree I really just want to to do bolt on stuff like maybe some handlebars, skid plates and such then down the road I would like to do the big 3 but I am leavening the engine alone for sure.

My '21 Raptor 700R-SE is STOCK. The plastics from Yamaha are very cheap Quality. For $12k.

Yo bro...spend the extra $$$ and get a Vortex tuner. I have a 2022 R SE I bought new at the tail end of 2022. I've got the Rossier R5, FCI intake, Vortex ECU, and Cuervo racing AIS delete. You won't need to Dyno with a Vortex, but you will need a dyno for the PowerCommander if you want to do it correctly. You've got everything down except I would strongly suggest looking into the Vortex. Even the owner of Rossier, and Lenny Duncan from Duncan Racing both told me over the phone that it's absolutely the best for this quad. EDIT: OH and I just got some fresh Hiper Tech 3s wrapped in Maxxis Rzr2s I need to put on this weekend. 🍻 bro!

Bro, use rubbing alcohol it will come right off any paint or plastic if it's been scratch or not to deep in paint or plastic works on cars too

Beautiful bike, it is the exact color combination I wanted… But could not afford lol. Just picked up a 2022 Yamaha raptor 700R the blue and black one with no hours on it a few weeks ago, I have big plans for it as well so curious to see how yours goes

Use a heat gun to het the residue off .and leave the coolant low.. so if it overheats

I ended up buying another pressure washer since my other one was not working. It took it all off in 15 minutes, thank goodness my plastics still look good.

I dont know I have not done mine yet. I just brought mine in for the 10 hour service since i get 3 free oil changes but most raptor parts should be but I would ask your dealer's service or part department what they use to service the machine and just use that.

If you don't know how to adjust your suspension, buying a new one will not help. Just saying. If you're not taking huge jumps the stock suspension probably has plenty of adjustments to set it up nice for you.
