Yk, its kinda crazy that, where I live I get the rs660 Extrema for just 9700 😂. But the R7 is 9900 😅

Real world top speed of the R7 is just around 135 mph though and it only gets to that speed without front wind. But the RS660 does indeed get up to 148 mph. This is both GPS measured, not the indicated speed. Especially the Yamaha is showing way to much on the speedo.

I'm actually looking at getting a 660 as my next bike. Rode the R7 at a demo day and was neither impressed nor unimpressed lol. You get far more tech with the 660 than the R7. However, finding aftermarket parts and accessories for the 660 is somewhat difficult. And there aren't as many dealers.

Yea, it's a sweet bike but the accessibility of Yamaha aftermarket parts and dealers is a strong point for the R7. With some modifications, I do believe the R7 can be a strong contender on the track vs the RS660.

The R7 is a pathetic excuse for a sportbike. Less power, worse suspension, less tech, smaller tank and it is downright hideous looking.
