Buy an M2 or M240. Very similar spec but a whole lot less money and just as much fun.

Pick mine up Tuesday.....I got a Skyscraper gray....I like dark gray cars, I'm over the blacked out look myself.

I love dark grey cars too. My last 2 BMW's were Mineral Gray, but I decided I need a fun color so I got Thundernight Metallic on my M240i

Nice catch, that was my mistake. It's a traditional 8 speed automatic made by ZF. It's lightning quick and having just driven an F80 M3, I misspoke

This guy doesn't know what he's talking about. Also, this 523 HP engine is reserved for the AWD and convertibles models. Standard M4 cars get the 473 HP engine. Rear drive only M4 Competition models come standard with the 503 HP version; I have on order right now (status shown as "Scheduled for production) on my BMW order tracking page).

The 523 HP rating only applies to AWD and convertible models, which this guy failed to mention.

I was speaking on the car I was reviewing, but yes, that is correct

You shouldn't rev M cars without opening the flaps by changing the mode. Those flaps were clearly closed and it sounded pretty bland.

The car is still in it's break-in period it only revs to 4,000 and I didn't hit the limiter, it sounds much better after break-in when the car unlocks the rest of the rev range
