This is the first time since the original two Corvette styles evolved that I have yet again become excited about the Corvette and zara’s influence on it end it being a thought outside the normal rigors of making money with very fast cars this is a very fast beautifully thawed out car with an incredible amount of creativity I would like to see a lot more of this and a lot more of these ideasBestowed upon your more utilitarian models so that everyone gets to be part of this enterprise it is nothing less than exciting fantastic futuristic and beautiful

Interesting. I have zero interest in full electric. Hybrid plug ins I’m still probably not going to buy. If they had the ability to charge when driving maybe. This will be a crazy car though for around 200K. I just sold my Ferrari 488 a while back that was putting out around 800 HP with tune exhaust etc. the 1000 HP and AWD will be crazy and like a Stradale. The Vette looks good and similar to Ferrari in front. I’m not big fan of the C8 from rear though.

This rendering doesn't seem to follow the mid engine platform the Corvette now uses... This looks like a modern take on the C7 , which is like but doubt this is what it is going to look like

I've been a GM TECH for 32 years, and vette specialist for 25 of those GM has been a very good representative of what Zora had imagined the Corvette could be and what it represents in the American auto industry; I am personally in agreement with most vette enthusiasts that the C-7 ZR1 was the Pinnacle of raw corvette performance;however GM has also kept on the forefront of the modern performance world market with the C-8 a remarkable driving experience for less adept drivers and step up to Ferrari, Porsche, & Lamborghini in global super car race with a working mans budget: And YES I WOULD DEFINITELY LOVE TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET UP ON THE WHEEL of the ZORA edition Vette

Not necessarily midlife crisis. We all don’t have a ball spot. For most of us it has taken us years to put the cash aside for such a needless/luxury purchase. My Opinion: I want 1200hp/1500T-ALL ELECTRIC. 0-60 1.25 (Hyper Plaid). This truly is one of the most beautiful sports cars I have ever seen.

Anyone who thinks this earth shattering is weird! Why not just repurchase a c7!? Chevy... You guys are done, there's nothing to see here! First off, this was styling promised for the c9! Secondly, the c7 was awesome in every way, then you out did with c8 for speed but took a few things away with c8! Well, if it's the last ice car than we want a few things back like an optional stick, even if it's auto! I like the whole speed thing with the electric motors and all but I could also super charge or turbo! This thing about eray only having 6 lousy stealth miles was a joke! Id be empressed if it were 3 to 4 times this range, making it usesable, cause as fast as it is, it ain't beating the z06 or zr1! Why did you take our beloved Grand Sport away for this? Everyone know it was the real value out of all the vettes and by the way, the z06 is not just ugly... It's oogly! The z51 c8 facial features are the best. Now if you gave us better gas mileage without the quirks of the cylinder deactivation, a grand sport with 40 miles on a charge or 6 miles without, in stealth an E-stick of some kind when we want to ignore paddles! And a pretty facial features like on the c8 z51 and maybe a see thru convt top like on the Maserati!!!! And make it get a 0 - 60 in say 2.6 so that it beats any regular c8 or z51 and give it slightly larger hips than but not quite as over imagined as the z06... This car would not only be classic, but it be epic!!! Oh, and please do us a favor and protect the MSRP or strictly sell this thing exclusively away from the dealerships where no premium that you won't see marks up the vehicle so that you can't move your inventory! The dealerships has destroyed your business model and personally detered me from buying a convt z51 and or an eray! Tito Previous owner of z51 c8 as well a c7 z51

So the base model was okay looking, but if you want a stunner, your going to pay Lamborghini prices. When I see a Corvette in traffic, I think, exotic, then I say, " oh it's a Corvette ". I love the c7, but In my humble opinion, its the last Corvette.

I’ve owed 20 corvettes and I loved everything about all of them because they were Corvettes, the true American Sports car. To me there is nothing prettier than a Corvette with the exception of the C-4’s and I sorry to say to all my C-4 owners they were all dog ugly. Other than the C-4 all others corvettes were are beauties and I dick and tired of hearing the Europeans attempting to trash our Sports Car when their damn So called Super and Hyper cars ARS put together using Audi, Mercedes and BMW parts so are they truly Super Cars when you have parts from every other manufacturer whereas the Corvette is all GM with no other manufacturers parts to make them. Plus if you like at maintenance cost the European cars are stupidly expense to repair and like I said they spend a ton of time in the repair shop whereas we have 70-70 year old American muscle that’s still ponding pavement today with no shop time and that’s just proof of good old American manufacturing and know how. So keep they can keep their cheaply manufactured Lamborghini’s, Porches and Mclaren’s that cost more to replace the brakes, wheels and tires on than to go out a purchase a beast of American muscle that will 8th mile all them for a quarter of the price.

I own 2 C5 Corvettes 2001 2004 and a 2019 C7 The last year for a true Corvette I tried to purchase a C8 but the prices are to inflated. It's ridiculous what they mark them up. No wonder why they don't sell. If you want a Great reliable Corvette I recommend a C5. Stay away from the C4s they are troublesome with the troublesome Crossfire engine

@@michaeldelio1870 Thankyou Michael Yes having 3 Corvettes is a Dream. I love them all. 1 C5 is Black 2nd C5 Is Magnetic Red Metallic 3rd C7 is Red Metallic Tint Coat. I was looking for a 2020 mid engine Corvette in 2019 but you could not order one. So I decided to buy the C7 instead. The prices for these cars are astronomical. Prices are way to Inflated. I will wait a few years till the prices drop from depreciation where they may drop to MSRP. That would be my best advice to anyone looking for a C8. Besides all that Michael did you here that Chevrolet GM may decided to replace the C8s engine. Because of mechanical problems with the current engine being it a mid engine flat plane they may decide to install a 6.6 Liter engine. I believe this engine will have 660 HP.
