I almost did too, early last year, but the markups turned me away. I got an Elantra Hybrid instead and have been enjoying 50+mpg ever since.

@@jassbrar8845 I had mine for nearly 15 months, and put just over 30,000 miles on it. Here’s the issues I’ve had with it so far: Horn stopped working- replaced under warranty Non mechanical: had to replace a tire because outer wall gave out. Patched that replacement wheel because I hit a nail Replaced air valve on a different tire because it was leaking. Replaced key fob battery recently. The key fob battery is the only battery issue I’ve had and I hope that’s the only one I’ll have so long as I own this car.

New prius is just as good of a car. I would go with this, but prius is better mpg and arguably more practical.

I have a 2016 Honda, I waited 2 years for the HYBRID, I believe it was worth the wait.

Brother you might have to wait at least 2 more years. Honda to release their awd hybrid system in 2026.

If I'm being honest these new economy cars feel more desirable than some of the newer luxury cars 😂 With mercedes and bmw having a race to the bottom to disappoint their customers this new civic is looking pretty good considering it has most of the same tech with great mpg and looks better than most bmws from the past 5 years 😂

I was quoted $43999 @7.49 at my local Honda. They did surprisingly offer me $16500 trade for my 2016 civic touring. Not sure what to do that is a large markup on what Honda Canada website says.

Shop around with other Honda dealers to see if there are any that are willing to sell at MSRP or slightly above. Don’t buy such a huge mark up!! You’ll be screwing yourselves + these cars and their 5 door variants are meant to be mass market. Just wait a few more months if you can, it’ll be easier to find non-marked up cars by then.

If they could just improve the styling on the Accord, which has the same hybrid system. Will test drive this new Civic in the fall. Some people worry about road noise.

Why cant they just use LEDS for the rear signal lights? The halogen pubs really ruin the whole design for me.
