rumors about the launch of the Yamaha's most highly anticipated trail bike is predicted to take place at the end of 2025.
Oberdan Bezzi, who is known as a leading motorbike designer, recently shared a rendering image of the Yamaha XT 700 concept via his website.
A sturdy frame design and reliable suspension will be the main advantages of this motorbike, in line with Yamaha's reputation for producing tough trail motorbikes.

Bring back the XT500, make it affordable and give it the option of a bigger plastic tank for longer distances. Better headlight. It’ll be extremely popular.

I remember my brand new TT500 and will never forget it. With a 2021 Street Glide special and a ZX14R these days its hard to find something else I need but an XT700 just might be what I need. The TT would ride wheelies till the motor burned up if you were not careful.

Probably another monster bike well over 200kg with top speed of 200km/h (like you need that, yeah right) with heaps of electronics but dressed as the original XT500. The weight of XT500 of the ‘80s was 140kg with an air/oil cooled mono cylinder. Essentially a tractor on two wheels but with a very solid and reliable powertrain. Motorbikes manufactures are going the way car manufacturers are - supersize me. That could not be further from the original concept of XT500.

I agree. I rode my ‘78 XT 500 for thousands of miles, very happily. The only thing I changed was that I got a powerful headlight bulb. Apart from that, I’d put on a bigger petrol tank. The bike itself was wonderful. Plenty of low down power and plenty of top speed for the highway when needed. If they were available and affordable now, id buy one without hesitation. I don’t want a 650 or 700cc version with a load of electric options. Just a bigger tank and a better headlight. That bike had soul. If they made these for £5000, they would outsell most other bikes.

Be a very strategic move for yamaha,going by the popularity of the many xt500 series being restored many xt owners regret selling them I know I do my xt500 was 1 bike I definitely should have kept
