It sounds pretty good for what it is. Kinda sounds like a infiniti q50 or q70. Miss the Hemi though all nice strong and beefy sound.

Why is everyone hating on the Turbo I6? They are great engines typically (Who knows how this one will be reliability wise) but at least it isn't a Turbo I4 or Electric only.

Lamenting the loss of the hemi. Some outlets have also stated this hurricane needs some work. Lastly, Stellantis has not had the best record with engines that aren't the pentastar v6 or the hemi 8 (see the diesel v6). Hoping it's all wrong though! I'll keep the hemi just because it sounds better at any given point in time

It is better than the outgoing diesel option, but the biggest issue I have with this engine is that it has no oil dipstick.

Yep! They had leds in the bighorn/lonestar which is one step lower than a Laramie as an option in the 24 model.

I don’t mind turbos if they are well taken care of, but this little engine with the High Output version puts out almost 550 hp on a 3.0L engine scares me that it won’t last very long.

In the USA the model year is usually (like 95% of the time) one year ahead of the year of production. Not sure why.

Manufactures usually release the next year of production a little earlier. This Ram 1500 is updated, so Ram decided to release it early.
