When i bought my Tremor a year ago i was comparing both tremor vs rebel. Rebels were easily $10k more expensive for the same options with Ford. Happy with my purchase. Ford for the win

Rebel used to have a skid plate in front. And i thought Ram was coming with safety features standard in 2025. Interesting. Ford needs to make rear liners standard. Good info.

Ram needs to reshuffle their options assortment for sure. True enough, they offer better standard HP(Rebel) and more safety equipmemt as standard(ACC/BLIS is stsndard on Ram), but no power passenger seat and 360 cameras at this price point is not good. However, I guess only time will tell on whether or not direct/port injection will be a huge deal for the Hurricane. Ford ran direct only for a decade on the EBs for years and the engine didnt collect a ton of carbon unlike others. One trick to note with the Hurricane is that each of its turbos feed 3cyls, vs a serial turbo system like others. I was also surprised that the Ram was only off about 60lbs in payload vs the Ford, despite softened coil suspension and spray-in bedliner. But in this exact scenario, it does appear that the Ford does offer just a smidge more for the money, but you can get a ton more cash off at Ram.

I just test drove both. I own a 22gmc Sierra. I have never owned a ram or a ford. I went in totally sold on the f150. Luckily the dealer had them both parked in a “off-road” lot and to my surprise the ram looked better inside and out. Ram with the hem was faster and the ram was WAY better off if pavement. I was seriously let down with the tremor.

How is fabric wheel well liners easier to clean off then plastic? Those carpet liners hold gallons of mud and can take 20 minutes to spray one out vs. plastic. Ask any detailer how much they hate carpet liners. The carpet helps to deaden road noise but they are not easier to clean.

I’ve said this until I’ve been blue in the face. Why can’t anyone understand the Rebel is not even in the same playing field as the Tremor? Front Torsen differential. Better skid plates. Better clearance angle in front skid plate. Trail turn assist. Rock crawl mode. Better tires. The Rebel can’t play. There have been numerous videos on KZfaq comparing these models. And time and time again the Rebel comes up short.

Ram's interior is the oldest, and I'd still take it over Ford's. I say that as a Ford F350 owner. Ford's is their best ever, but GM and Ram just do it better lately. Ram has consistently had the best overall interior for over a decade now; they were very smart back in 2012 putting so much focus on that when they shifted the luxo-truck idea into overdrive.

No 4wd auto in tremor for a winter climate is a deal breaker for me. 402a includes auto 4wd but is alot more money.

Those are not "4 Piston" calipers.... they are 2 piston sliding calipers, not 4 piston fixed calipers. Just thought you might want to know before you state information. No biggie, I enjoy your reviews but I am OCD.

I think Ram dropping the V8 altogether was smart. Full speed ahead on the Hurricane, no looking back. Ford's Coyote WILL be going away within the next 3-5 years unless they decide to do some unusual thing with it like make it hybrid or something. They may keep it in the commercial F150s but the consumer trucks will likely see it go away because V8 sound isn't enough to keep that product around, eventually. That's literally the only selling point right now.

Yeah you might think your getting a better deal with the FORD but FORD has multiple class action lawsuits over failing trucks AND constant recalls AND endless customer complaints. I've compared both and anyone with half a brain can tell you that the FORD instrument cluster looks like a five year old designed it compared to RAM, it's embarrassing how basic it looks, they also use the cheapest plastic available everywhere on the inside. FORD does have some pros but overall I think the RAM wins

With ford for the F-150 you are able to get a V8 and ford did not kill the V8. Also ford did not kill the V8 in the mustang like what dodge did with the Challenger and Charger and now ram killing the V8 for the 1500. Stellantis has no balls to keep the V8 instead they are playing being a foreign company that does not know what Americans want. Stellantis has money to keep the V8 fact but instead they cave into the woke Radical environmentalist people of California and Democrats.Ford wins for not killing the V8 Stellantis is just a crap auto maker
