Love this new refresh, this might be my next car once they come out with the hybrid in 2026.

The front end reminds me of the Ford Explorer. The Subie wheels look good. Nice looking ride.

A great review but a couple corrections, all 4 windows have express up down and the rear seats do recline, you have to pull the straps near the seat belt buckles. I believe this is the best Forester yet! I've just ordered a Touring in River Rock Pearl / Brown leather.

Test drove one today. The seat is definitely firmer than the last gen. The interior looks good and is comfortable with good materials. Wish the cargo area was a little deeper. Power is more than adequate for normal driving, but I can see it struggling if you were climbing a hill with the car loaded. One thing about the CVT is that when you step on it, there is a jolt like a hard shifting on conventional automatics before it starts doing its CVT thing. The price seems about 1500 to 2000 higher than the last gen across the board.

Infotainment UI looks like it is straight out of a 1980's arcade game. If they'd give it a clean, flat modern look in an update please (or at least the option), and update the grill to be less Ford-y then it would be much better

Great review. I'm trying to decide between a 2025 Forester or a Crosstrek.

I was really thinking about getting this or the outback, but now I am thinking maybe I should hold off to see what the hybrid is about next year. Also wish it had better towing as well as turbo

I may have missed it but does the 360 degree camera work while driving or is it just while stationary?

I use sport mode all the time. I drove a turbo outback and it didn't kick in until it was too late.If that makes sense?

Price is decent but I would gladly pay a little more for a normal automatic transmission ; I really dislike CVTs and for that reason alone I probably wouldn’t buy this unless I got a really good deal on the hybrid model when it comes out . Mazda understood that and didn’t cheap out with CVTs like many others did .

For me Premium trim looks better. Greetings

Meh. Looks like a Ford had baby with another Subaru or a Toyota. I have a 2018 XT Touring that I won't give up until they have a hybrid or XT option. My Subie has most of these functions (and has bigger brakes and a sport suspension) 6 years later. How can the towing capacity be the same after 2 refreshed models later? 😮😢

Single speed rear wiper? They've been 2 speed for years! Not anymore? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

My opinion is BORING. Zzzzzzzz. I drive a Forester Wilderness. I saw a few in the parking lots I went to, and I HAD to have one! I don't think anyone will see this car and think that. Am I wrong???
