1. Export your object from Marvelous Designer as obj. Let's say you're modelling a sheet. Now you have sheet.obj. 2. While still in MD, flatten the same sheet you've just modelled and export it as obj as well. This would be sheet_base.obj. 3. In 3ds max create a plane 3000x3000, with length segs: 500, width segs: 500. Apply UVWmap as Plane 2000x2000. Convert to poly. 4. Import to 3ds max both sheet.obj and sheet_base.obj. Convert both to poly, detach individual elements. If you have just one piece of cloth (no seams, nothing fancy) like a rectangular sheet, now you should have three objects in your 3ds max scene. One is the simulated piece of cloth with wrinkles, the secons one - its relaxed version, the third one is 3000x3000 plane. 5. Apply Morpher modifier to simulated cloth. In the Channel List you'll see a button highlited, right-click 'Pick From the scene', click the relaxed piece of cloth in your 3ds max scene. Go back to mod stack to Channel List and raise value to 100.0 (right next where it said - empty - a second ago). Now you have both your simulated sheet and sheet_base looking exaclty the same, both are flat. Delete the sheet_base object. 6. Now back to 3000x3000 Plane. Align it with your sheet in XYZ. Modify your plane by moving vertices and edges, deleting and cuting polygons etc., so its outer border matches exactly the border of your sheet. This might take some time, be patient. When you're done, make sure both the plane and the sheet are perfectly aligned on XYZ. 7. Apply Skin Wrap modidier to your plane, check "Weight All Points" and hit Add button. Click on your sheet object in the scene. Depending on your computer specs, this might take some time. 8. When calculation is done, go back to your sheet and in mod stack change Morpher value back to 0. Both the original sheet and your plane should drape themselves back to desired shape. Convert plane to poly. Delete original sheet imported from MD. Hope this helps!

большая вероятность, что при твоем способе, рисунок зигзагов собьется в районе симметрии!

@@dead_lyric диван - симметричный, рисунок симметричный , с самого короткого дивана можно сделать верхний в два клика. Я в начале года начал моделировать корабль LEXX который сложнее этой модели в раз так 100500, и иногда даже интересней юзать Editble Patch так как поли слишком деревянное.

У каждого свой пайп лайн, который отработанный годами и зачастую не меняешь его от модели к модели
