I didn't plan to do an Iris series until after I blew this one out and then it seemed like a no-brainer! The endless colors of irises make color selection an easy decision, which is often half the battle with fluid art. Full recipe details and colors used are listed below.

Paints used: Artist's Loft Flow Acrylic White, Arteza Marmalade, Pearl Amaranth Red, Pearl Magenta and white, Master's Touch Rouge, Modern Master's English Brown. Each of these were mixed with 1 part paint, 2 parts Floetrol and 1/2 part water plus a bit more water if necessary to thin.
The base was mixed 3 parts paint, 5 parts Floetrol and 2 parts water.

This is gorgeous! I don't know how I missed this 3 days ago. So glad I caught this. Who cares what you call it...it fabulous! People are so weird! I guess you just have to ignore people like that. Plus most pour artist are not blowing white over it before they blow it out...it causes it to muddy to much. Those colors you made up are so yummy! Really great painting Chris!😊💜💙💜💙💜

Hi, I’ve just watched your video and I as a beginner don’t always go around the color with additional white because I agree it changes the final clarity of color. Both are pretty one is just a preference over the other. Your painting is beautiful.
