Recently the tank builders in my Discord community have been experimenting with a new type of weapon. This old concept made new has taken on many different forms. I personally have been exploring their usefulness as a light anti-tank cannon...

this is a very simple and ingenious invention, and for increased penetrability put cardboard on the bearings, as for a conventional gun, and even better, use bolts, they are easier, which means they will fly faster ...

I didn't use bearings to increase reload rate. Bolts and pipes should have the same weight. Also bolts won't work unless the cardboard is on a bearing...

I used the long pipes for ammo instead and it can penetrate and explode pretty much any tank. I tested it and it can penetrate up to 12 block thick armor. also, you can put up to 14 rounds on each cannon

i took this concept and made a tank mainly based on this type of gun. Sadly it doesn't work as good now, probably an update broke it a little bit.

guys if you are having problems with shooting with this, try a heavier block. it works for me with a heavier block

place down a spud gun, place down a block of cardboard infont of it, then place a pipe on the cardboard (so that it's only connected to the cardboard). Then connect a button to the spudgun and press it

@@tom4260 my variant after this video... you hook the spudgun that shoots the carboard on a button..then the other you hook in a timer at 1 tick and you hook it to the button... now you should have the spudguns fire at a very very small delay...

No, these won't destroy cardboard. They are meant to "pierce" through blocks and hit explosive barrels inside the cannons of other tanks... Or cause other issues in tanks, like interfering with A-D converters

One of the spudguns breaks the cardboard and the other makes it go fast if you don't understand how it goes fast take a ball and a bat for example you can make the ball go fast by hitting it with the bat
