I'm on Volume 3 of the Perfect Edition and MAN. This could be an amazing anime, but it would have to be handled with a lot of care and reverence for the story and its themes. I feel like it can't be thrown out like many other manga adaptations we've gotten for other big series *cough* *cough* Berserk *cough* *cough*

havent finished reading it yey but show had 2 time jumps in the first 3 volvunes one of 3 years and another one of 17 YEARS. kinda turned me off. The 17 year time jumo happens right before the climax of the first arc and then the ending of that arc is explained later. I was like wtf bro. there were also too many dropped polt points for me to feel engaged

Lol I too dropped it at that time skip, but it was my biggest mistake. After some months I picked it up again and kept on reading, a few chapters are a bit slow but they are the buildup. Then it starts going crazy, it just keeps on getting better every chapter and you can't stop reading it, keeps you on the edge of your sit. And whatever things that weren't explained earlier will be explained later on. I recommend reading it again, never drop this masterpiece.
