So glad someone else pointed this out! He should be in place of Channing Tatum; perhaps the producers thought putting Channing's name instead of Pedro's would have more appeal since he's arguably a better known name and loved by men and women alike. Either way, Pedro Pascal's name should have been in the main trailer credits. Brilliant actor and a main part of the film!

When Colin "died" in the first one it was kind of a cliffhanger, Colin never lived to see what Eggsy's become. Now that we know that he's alive most people will wanna see Colin's reaction when he meets Eggsy, it's genius!

I understand that he is a little known actor, but the ones that we have seen Game of Thrones and Narcos, we know that he is a good actor. After that: Captainsman They go to the Caribbean and meet specialized agents who use old age pirate tactics. Even if Colin Firth wasn't in the trailer, the audience would've find out that he's in the movie just due to the fact that he's part of the main cast. If you found out that Colin Firth would be part of the Kingsmen 2 cast then you wouldn't be surprised he's in the movie. Adding him in the trailer gives nothing away and creates more hype for the movie.

it's called marketing. Fox knows how pivotal Colin Firth's character "Harry" played in the success of the first Kingsman. Letting people know that he's alive and back for the 2nd movie will only entice people to want to go see it more.
