Many thanks for uploading this....Brings it all back! I wasn't quite 15 at the time, but was Watford mad . It was a fantastic day, and I watched it behind the goal (The Rookery) where Barry Endean scored his goal. I was convinced that we were going to go all the way and win the FA Cup that year....I was convinced that we would win every match though... Lol. Anyway, we more than met our match in the next round, in the semi-final against Chelsea...The score was 5-1, but at least we lost to the eventual winners, who went on to beat Leeds United in a replay at Old Trafford, Manchester, after drawing 2-2 at Wembley.....Great days!!

That's the football I remember. Mud-caked pitches, players covered in mud, and when the FA Cup, and all the excitement that came with it, really meant somethimg.

Barry Endean deserved 3 goals , but one was enough . Respect to Ken Furphy and the great job he did at Watford FC -.R.I.P.

Yes, this was the game that convinced Shankly that he "had to break them up", in his words. But well played Watford!

Muddy pitches, great kits, atmospheric crowds and giant killing teams, what's to dislike?

How much do Liverpool FC owe Barry Endean for this

Liverpool were poor. Alun Evans was anonymous and Ron Yeats had a mare.
