Also to add to that it has made it easier 100 fold because it leaves my first base able to be an absolute unit for breeding and my 3rd base used as an on the spot teleport. You dont need much quartz so no need to make a farm for one.

Bro they are about to be AAA after this blow up! Over 2 million players at $25 a pop on PC alone! I hope they use that money to make some seriously good content

@@Zweihander92 They damn sure deserve to go AAA with what they have just pulled off, I don't think this has ever been done before. Hate it or love it everyone has to respect this achievement. My only concern is the game not continuing the pressure that's been applied, not pushing it to it's potential ya know? I keep thinking of how good games get handled by most of these dev teams up until now and hope that isn't this team as well.

Dam I was transferring them between my inventory and a storage box when I was at base. This is way easier I don't need a box. Well until it gets patched

Additional tip, you can feed it through inventory while mounted. That way you don't need to dismount in an unsafe area

You can equip a food bag and it will auto eat

I find myself feeding them myself because they don't eat all the way till full plus I don't put the food in that food slot because you have to move it into your inventory to use it.. lol I just keep it in my inventory 🤷‍♂️

I haven’t noticed mine actually eat from the bag. Do they have to starve first? I see them half full I pull the food from the bag and feed them in my inventory

Mine are satisfied with over 1k berries from 2 berries patches with 14 active pals, they only starve or get mad if they fall through the ground

@@bruticus1496 then mine are broke cause they don’t eat often enough to keep topped up unless I feed them higher quality food.

Yea i just read that yesterday and didn't pay attention sooner, i was having issues with sanity ever since launch because i only built basic hot tubs, straw pal beds and planted berries for food 🤣

If i hit that sort button i would be so mad since i set it up by dragging them into boxes like in pokemon

Pick up your pal and throw it at the thing you want them to prioritize.

@@fvb7 That works but I'd rather have a way to assign them tasks through a menu. They could add it to the Palbox or that command thing that lets you make them work harder. It would be even better if you could arrange their tasks in a priority order.

Same I would much rather assign them OR maybe have a 1,2,3,4,5 ranking system and assign their tasks based on a priority list. @@naturalselection28

@@fvb7 that runs out once the task is done tho, do you constantly stay online to assign pals to jobs? We need an option to do that efficiently

Just curious, which pal(s) were you going with as your fighters early on?

@rando151 at the very start, lvl 5ish, I just used whichever had the best atk stat. I got a cat with furious, so I tossed it on there until I could catch the chillet boss. The cat has a low cooldown skill, so adding a 2nd let them just chain skills infinitely and be 100% ranged dmg. My 1st game I just used daedream and that worked well tho

Think they reset after an hour so you can just go back I believe

You don't have to move the food, you can just sort the chest with the food in it and it'll reset the timer 🙂

Apparently you haven't looked at his list of videos, or you would have seen he made a video on how to feed them right... this was probably in his prep for that. Maybe you could listen and appreciate what you didn't know instead of criticizing the one thing you don't understand. Just a thought.

@whytchywooo there was no criticism Karen. It was pointing out a funny FACT of the video and light heartedly laughing about it. Never said his video was null and void due to this fact. Never said he needs to work on anything. No criticism being made. I will however, now criticize you. @@TeachersGameToo Yeah haha, I thought so but wasn't sure. Big ups for the idea of using the 3rd base as a quick fast travel back home, the only issue I can imagine with it is later on when you need coal and quartz/sulphur

Yup 100% we turned raids off. They are so OP and dumb. unless.. you make your base raid proof which then why even have them on.. lol. The logging back in with all your guys starving, depressed, weakened etc SUCKS if we are logged off for any longer than like 5 hours or so.. we come back to them all being fucked up.. it's like they don't eat while we are offline. I hope they fix all this stuff.

@@darthartagnan4737if you make your base raid-proof, keeping raids turned on means you can literally farm the different raider types during the events. For example, I have my bases set up on tall plateaus without methods of reaching them other than climbing. Pals and the human AI types can’t climb so they just stand and look at the wall of the cliff. I jump down right above them and just shoot them low and catch them.

i have not had any offline issues, u running dedicated server? if u set up a feeding thing they should feed themselves, also if u do berries maybe just cook them, i been doing cooked berries, im almost lvl 30 haven’t had starving issues unless they get stuck in walls lol

@@asciiangel7583 Yeah on servers or anything but single player. The pets have been not eating while offline. Checked on official, non dedicated, and a private server. Hopefully they fix it soon.

But here is a tip for true late game. Skip a lot of the items in talent tree if you have a schematic. llvl 50 is the max and even though you do get talent tree points for fast travel unlocks as well, you won't have enough to unlock everything in the tree. I found this out the hard way. You just will not have enough unless you get lucky and find Knowledge books. Skip ccosmetics till you have everything you want already. Also if you are finding you cannot get passed a certain point, you can edit your world from main menu and change it to custom and change any settings needed at all. It works out super well in the end. Also the heater and cooler, they will not heat your eggs or anything like that. if you need them heated for the hot, or for the cold to be cold, make a few incubators near a teleport in the Lava area and top of snow mountain. the natural heat and natural cold there is enough for those 100% incubation speeds for the extreme case eggs like he showed in video. *subhint: skip it all by going into customize world and set egg timers to 0 and just insta unlock them or set to 1 for max of 30 minutes*

True, but I believe at Max lvl 50, you haven't earned enough tech points to unlock everything in the tech tree. So somethings will remain locked and helpful to use schematics rather then spending points.
