I have a high paying engineering job, and I live upstate MN. since covid 19 my expenses are extremely low. I have zero debt on a 7 figure portfolio, low rent and car paid off. Absolutely !!!! I love I'll have to be debt- free in every sense before purchasing my first supercar. The best thing to do with your money is to infuse rightly because money left saving will end up with no returns.

Most people miss it but the secret to retiring comfortably is finding a way to make returns while your money works for you. My Dad, as i remember started saving for retirement quite late but I know he was making more than 10k returns from his investments monthly and it was completely passive

At 16, he had a baby. At 17, he started in the car business making 130k/year while attending nursing school. At 18, he had another kid, kept making 130k/yr and kept studying in nursing school. Amazing stuff, almost impossible to believe that someone has enough time in their day to do all this. If you have this kind of drive, you can clear this debt. He's working 3 nights/week already and you asked him to pick up more. That might be ok in some fields, but in the medical field there's an issue of fatigue and safety. A nurse can't hustle it out indefinitely while guaranteeing they don't make mistakes.

Overtime, in the medical world, dude. We all do it. My husband hurt his arm and could not work for three months. I pulled double shifts to keep us a float. You get use to it quickly.

@Jeqzah Really depends on your financial literacy and views in money and debt. I make $130k and was fine driving my 12 year old Toyota Matrix until i had a baby and needed to upgrade. Debt stresses me out so i work to not have more than one thing I'm paying over a period longer than 2 months

My son is a lawyer and his wife is a doctor. They both still drive the cars they had in school. His is an F150 that I gave him 14 years ago...and it was used then. They will need new vehicles soon but I am so proud of the way he manages their finances. They are going to be in fantastic shape when they decide to have children. I should add that they don't make much money yet but they could easily run up a huge debt and don't.

Makes more sense than waiting until 40 then having to spend 80k to do invitro and maybe still having no kids. Kids are treasure. Eternal value. Your crap you buy at 20, 30, and 40 can't compare to holding your own baby in your arms.

@@CM-sy3to I went to school, worked my ass off, and had a baby at 40, right after I retired. Holding a baby is overrated and they didn't get interesting until they hit 4-5. But whatever you say poor person. IVF cost me 20k which wasn't shit.

And on no place on the planet does a twenty one year old with a wife and three kids have 2 mortgages. I am actually quite impressed with this kid. Making a $130k a year since he was 17-18 years of age, bought a house and a rental home. Now he is married with 3 kids and was able to complete his nursing degree and now working as a RN. He sounds like he's fully aware of his young and dumb mistakes at the age of 21. His biggest mistake is just the 2 car loans, $2800/month = super high interest rates for a young man. Then the $18k credit card. Once he gets out of debt I would love to see a follow up video of him 10 years from now.

I’m an RN and have worked with nurses that work 2 full-time jobs of 3x12 hour shifts per week, 1 day off. If he wants to be free bad enough, he can make more than 130K annually doing that temporarily 🤷♀️

Anyone reading this please ignore this comment. Do NOT aim to get into 350k debt and do NOT have so many kids so young. This is not a flex and life is not a race. Take your time, find your passion and develop your skill sets and take the slow and steady path in life. It will develop your character and you will reach your goals.

He went to high school and nursing school at the same time when he was 17 but not before having a litter of kids by the age of 13. When he was 15 he bought two houses and almost $100k in cars. His wife is a super model who gave up the runway to be a housewife. All his kids are in private boarding school and the oldest has been accepted to Harvard as a kindergartener.
