😅 Insane pop to that year of winner stays. I kinda want to pc that set in PSA 10 form, holo silver of course 👌

Def looks like some touched back corners on that Heritage Faulk, so 9 is accurate. Those Heritage Chrome cards are thicker so almost always at least 1 rough corner. Cool cards and nice grades. Congrats

Peeled a 1999 Finest Gold Refractor /100 Terrell Davis that was pristine and they still gave me a 9 as well. Pop 3 only 1 higher
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
Dang :( Yeah, they way harsh on those deckled edges. And you need to get lucky and get a grader that actually knows that set

Love this style of revealing, going to give a try soon. Hopefully its not to tough to execute all the editing.
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
You should definitely give it a try. The editing isn’t bad as long as you start/stop record after each card. Film per card for both pre-sub and final reveal 👌

Awesome cards LV, thanks for sharing! That 13 Russ Prizm is probably my favorite next to the Optic Kobe Winner Stays, but the 08 Durant Refractor is up there too! I'm sending my 2013 Derrick Rose Red Prizm to you as part of the "pre-grade" submission! It's been in my binder for the last 11 years since I pulled it, let's see how well it stood up!

A lot of dark back cards in this order. Seems like they were tough on those.
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
I think you’re right. Especially on the Rose and Kobe’s. They aren’t letting touches of white slide on the back now either 😓

Maybe who has the Lebron , will offer you a pretty penny for the rest of the set once you complete ? If you would even sell, that's quite the feat.

That’s a good way to look at it :) A few days ago I decided to officially start the gold refractor set. I’m just sad I sold away 25 of them over the past few months 😭

Another great video! Love the content and I’ve learned a lot from you. I’ve become a pretty good evaluator and 32/35 gems but when I go to list them at recent comp prices I’m hardly moving on any of them. I list it very accurately and list every day so not sure why I can’t get bites on fair prices. Any advice?
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
Dang, sorry to hear that! My guess is that you need that bigger seller status on eBay for views. I would think about consigning a small portion of your cards with probstein or dcsports87, and just see how they sell 👌 If they sell great, send them more 👍 Thanks so much for watching my content! Glad it can help

Do u feel the dock grades due to surface print lines/lines/print roller marks ? More noticeable the back of cards
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
They definitely dock 1-2 grades for front print/roller lines. But they’re more forgiving if they’re on the back. You can still get gem 10’s with factory lines/roller marks on back 👍 thanks for watching!

So you use card cleaner to prep your cards for grading?
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
Nope 🤙 I’m extremely old school, been submitting to PSA since 2002 well before any Kurt Card Care ever existed. I’ve always just used two microfiber cloths, one dry and one very slightly damp 👍 I’ve never deviated from this process. Thanks for watching!
@bbcardwiz10163 ай бұрын
Love the channel LV. Big fan. However.... given recent news with what's going on with Kurt's card care and PSA you just admitted... on camera....that you used tweezers to remove material from cardstock of a subbed card prior to grading. The lines of what is allowed and what isn't are already blurred enough for most folks... so just saying you are on some shaky ground here and open to criticism. Do with that as you see fit.
@littlevictoriessportscards1973 ай бұрын
I really appreciate the heads up comment and support of my channel 🙌 I’m always above board, and confident in my approach to cards….never doing anything shady 👌 On those deckled edges there is just excess cardboard already wanting to come off, and should have been removed during factory cutting anyway 👍 I personally don’t see any problem :) But I understand your comment. Hope all is well, and happy collecting! LV
@gradedcards55163 ай бұрын
Agreed. Taking a small speck of loose cardboard off is in no way comparable to using chemicals to remove scratches or soaking cards to remove wrinkles
@bbcardwiz10163 ай бұрын
@gradedcards5516 I'm fascinated by this topic in general and how various folks feel and deem certain things to be ok and certain things to not be ok. Care to share how there's any difference to removing cardboard still there from the factory vs soaking the card to improve surface? I'm not saying any response you make is right or wrong. Just like to know why people deem some things ok and others not.
