They have stretched, manipulated and abused the expression "only a very brave man will take on a woman with kids" *meaning 'not many will not because it's a hard difficult job to take on when you don't have to* women used to be grateful if a man would take her and kids on, respect them. Now they've twisted it to "you're not a real man" using the flawed theory that all men should be brave heroes that will take on a load of sh!t... They now think they are still a prize and are not humble like before, they literally think they are better than you if you take them on

True story. I have been blessed to be married to a wonderful engineer for thirty years. I made the mistake of actually listening to some young single women complaining about not being able to meet "good men." I suggested that my husband might have some single younger friends who were engineers. These idiots (mildest description) told me they were not interested because ..... ge t this...."engineers are boring." Slap forehead. I am glad they said no as those women were not good enough for my husband's young friends. Will never even think of doing something like that again. Dodged a bullet. These nitwits think that leading an orderly, peaceful and stable life is boring. Well, they are free to choose, aren't they.

@@sunriseboy4837 I have found this over an over an over again with friend and female relatives, many of whom are quite pretty and could attract a fair share of men. I think they did not have a Dad and Mom who taught them what I call "husband material" is While I have nothing against actors and poets, I would never expect them to be able to live within the confines of a marriage. My husband is very, very funny and great to be with, but, we often spend very quiet weekends at home watching classic movies, trying new recipes, practicing guitar ( in his case), and reading history in my case. We usually go out to dinner once a weekend. O.K. we are nerds. We have been known to throw some great parties, but that is only a couple times a year. My Dad was a high IQ accountant, vey smart and quite quiet spoken. He was a super Dad home for his kids every night. As I mentioned my husband is a high IQ engineer who is also quiet spoken and thoughtful and absolutely always there for me even when I am sick and disgusting ( on those rare occasions when I toss my cookies) Flashy, high-profile guys do not make good husbands, and they are most likely to look for more excitement with some woman other than you after they get bored or distracted by some new p---y.

The single mother: Sorry baby, most guys tend to pass on women with children. In the beginning of the relationship, there is a fine line to walk and most women can't/won't walk it. You have to spend lots of time with your man...uninterrupted time...to keep his interest, but at the same time you have to be a good mother. It is a very difficult thing to do. And many women want the guy to love them and their kids, want them to provide for everyone, yet wants to deny him the ability of a father in the home to deal with the child when necessary. It is an unfair position to put the man in. Add to that the interference/extra degree of difficulty of dealing with a baby-daddy (or more than one) and it just gets really crazy really quickly for a guy trying to take things seriously.

Even as a woman I have to agree with the young man @ 10:42 mark. If you are in a relationship you should be like two horses in a hitch, working together for a better life. Sometimes one is a little stronger than the other and has to pull a little harder to take up the slack, that works for both of you. If you have a man in prison, you don't have anything. When my son was in prison, I DIDN'T send him commissary money, I did send him Christmas & birthday money as well as pay for a couple of college classes because I would have done that had he been on the outside. He put himself there and I was not going to make it easier or coddle him. He was there because of what he did, not what I did.

15:45 for "Pair Bonding" it works like this... the FIRST person a woman has a sexual relationship the woman has an 80% ability to have a happy, LASTING relationship... the SECOND person, she has ONLY a 40% ability... and it HALVES each person after.... 20%, 10%, 5%, 2.5%. 1.75%... ect, ect, ect,... so with ONLY 2 sexual partners, a woman's ability to have a happy, lasting relationship is already at 60% failure.... so what's the percentage at 20 bodies??? 0.02%...... basically anything above 4 sexual partners (10%), she'll never have a successful, happy, lasting marriage.... and at only 2 partners it's already at 40% success rate, so truthfully, it's ANYTHING above ZERO PREVIOUS sexual partners will likely end in failure....

Do you have an actual source on this? Because the numbers mentioned makes it seem like it was made up by someone and is then passed on as "truth". It has the typical urban legend-ish "ahhh that's interesting" trait that would make people spread it without questioning it. I don't doubt a person's ability to happily end up with one person without getting the "grass is greener" syndrome, is getting worse the more partners you've had/dated. You're bound to start comparing more and more people to eachother, regret going to someone who feels "worse", etc. But what you said sounds more like urban legend.

Yeah I met a really cool chick the other day at my work. Till she said she has a kid who lives with his father and meets her ex boyfriend because of the dog. They fucking swap the dog all two weeks between them I am upset because of the poor doggo 😅. No really women these days have more red flags then my almost 40 years old ass. Sometimes, I feel like my current GF is like I've won the lottery : she's 20yo younger than me (I'm almost 40yo) but damn she's cute asf, always kind, always smiling, always laughing, and almost as dumb as me when it comes to do stupid things just for the laughs. She has less money than me, but still she always put a part in everything we do. She even sometimes pays for things I didn't even ask for ! There's always the other side of that single mom thing. I guarantee there are men in her DMs WILLING and ABLE to take of her and her kid, but she's curving them because they're not PERFECT. Because she's holding out for better. She's already on the sixth floor. I get wanting to let a man know from the gate that there's a child. Being honest about that is the right move. But so many of the single mom dating profiles are written like "This is an already established family unit that you may not participate in. You must observe from afar." It makes it sound like you don't want a relationship, you just want an atm. If all you want is money from simps, sell pics. If you want a serious man, he's going to want to actually be part of the family he's expected to provide for. He's going to want to be part of your world, too.

If your interested in a man , and you really like him , then dont put out, yes we as men are thinking about sex 24/7 but we also as men think that if a woman puts out fairly quick , then how often more does she put for other guys. If i meet a woman that i think is awesome , down to earth , easy going and just lots of fun, down deep 8n my heart i want her to make me wait. Every time i try and she stops me ,i might seem frustrated but what really is happening is every time she stops me another level of respect is given . And it makes me want to be with this woman more and more for long term . And i see it as her having a lot of respect and self worth for herself. Which is huge , nobody can make nobody happy , you have to be happy within yourself first , a good man is just a bonus to a already happy person. Commitment is a learned behavior that Men and Women are sadly not learning these days. When men leave a relationship, they very rarely do with a child in tow. While women do on a regular basis. So the difference between a man with experience and woman with experience is the baggage that comes along with them. Men's baggage is mainly having learned from their prior mistakes while women seem to learn nothing and blame the ex man for the relationship failure. Women need to learn that they stood almost no chance at all of ever getting that top 1% of men who they used to think they deserved. And now if you have a child, you better accept your true value has diminished to the point of no better than an average guy!

Everything you rate in a attempt to compare must be comparable. But I understand that this is what you want to rate and therefore you misunderstand the used method. Gentlemen, if by chance you do date a single mother and start leaning towards marriage. My suggestion is to find the EX and invite him out for a beer! Why? Because you've already heard her story about "the bastard." Go listen to his story before you drop to the knee with the ring! You're there on a fact-finding mission, so expect some harsh words coming from his mouth, and don't get upset! He probably has good reason for the attitude, and you want to know! Does his story resemble hers in any way? Does he admit to the shit she says he did, or did she twist it to make herself look good? Ask him about his life with his kid? Is he gonna actually be a Dad, even if it's only every other weekend! That's the courts bullshit, not his! Can he have rational conversations with the Ex regarding the kids? It's just very important info you need to make an intelligent decision about the rest of ypur life!

First thing that hits me, is this faith in some kind of unnamed "force" in the Universe that will provide for her (she didn't mention God). I think it is the result of watching too many romcoms with happy endings where semi-miraculously, against the odds, the woman ends up with a man who is willing to be that wonderful, caring, steady, reliable traditional man. Most of these women scorned traditional man as borining and misoginistic.

I know this message is long. But please read this if you’re a guy. Trust me. 16:55 this is why I’m keeping my house, my car, my properties, everything under my moms name.
