Whoa, for couple of days the algorithm has been recommending good content instead of the popular content. It's as if the google has finally broken some weird curse. I don't have this issue but thanks for sharing, here's the comment to please the algorithm 😂🙏

Nice video and nice comands Other way to have it in minutes, is just plug lan cable using an usb-c adapter. In my work we have 1gb internet , it get installed in 20 min

Why don't you install the bootable OS copy image straight on your drive that has to be fixed and the installer image to your usd pendrive ? That way your mac will start the process on the disk that's in your mac instead of external. This seems overcomplicated. Nice video though. Thanks

just a quick update. The error code which is -2100F can be not just a software bug. I had this error code pop again in 16" 2019 Macbook. The method to boot recovery from the external drive did not work. It does boot but the mac cuts off randomly. I discovered that the touchbar was bugging out. So by unplugging the touchbar the -2100F error code did not show up. So, in my theory -2100F is a communication error code. If you keep getting -2100F, then you might start unplugging things like touch ID or touchbar because they could be culprits.

Can I use the 2020 MBP I bought that was firwmware locked and now after using apple config and restoring and erasing it it does internet recovery and then activation lock? Can I reinstall an os and get it working or do I have to pay for a bypass? Your channel is EPIK by the way. thank you for you time and help

You can also turn of the t2 to allow other operating systems if you want to boot into linux just choose medium or no security for usb reboot and hold down power on a 2018 or newer it will boot from usb

Ok then. Here is a task for you. Factory reset the mac completely using Erase This Mac (in recovery) or with apple configurator 2. I want to see you struggling. Because when you completely factory reset the mac, all security are ON by default and there is no way you can disable. If the mac is missing MacOS with root/users directory, the mac will just not allow you to do it. It only can when there is already MacOS inside the ssd of the mac.

@@minkosmacs4409 one way to do this link the macs in dfu load a sytem mac os then access the managment set it to no security if you load linux you probably will have issues windows less issues , probably best to load a mac os unless you want to mess around in the kernel or load drivers. I can change the t2 chip as well if i run into trouble .

**update, I did not finish watching the video, I am trying this later on, and fingers are crossed!! will update! It sucks the one I am currently trying to repair was reset and it does not allow it to boot from external media or anything it always goes right to internet recovery, frustrating! lol

We have macbook 13, alter hitting cmd+ctrl R a few times, we still get internet recovery screen. We had earlier factory reset our laptop.

I managed to boot from the recovery in the external disk with Catalina, from there i restored the internal SSD (cloned) from the external, then reboot the Mac. It asked me to connect to the wifi to verify the internal SSD, it restarted a couple of times and now its running Catalina. Its a A1990 model

Hi, I'm trying to do this, but the Restore process failed with an error "The volume on device /dev/disk3 is not of type Apple_HFS or Apple_UFS. Could not validate source - Device not configured. The operation couldn't be completed. (OSStatus error 6.)". Any ideas on what went wrong?

Tried again, this time instead of selecting the main internal SSD in disk utility, I selected the container disk from the drop down arrow under the internal SSD & it worked. Many thanks for this tip, saved me from completing the longer process in the video!

At the moment it's nearly impossible to bypass M1 Macs. Even checkm8 don't have solution yet.
