Hi all, You are my only and best 'ukulele teachers! I didn't play the instrument until COVID came along. I'm in my late 70s now and have considered myself a musician ever since I entered kindergarten because I loved to sing and had the only alto voice in my school. Unfortunately my father hated music and wouldn't allow me to have an instrument in our house. I left home early but I always missed those early years when I would have liked to have learned to play an instrument - or many. When the COVID lock-down began, I went on-line and over the next six months I bought a tenor, a super tenor, and a baritone 'ukulele from Kanile'a because I really liked the sound that their instruments made. I also discoved your programs on-line! Thank you so much for taking the time to make sure that your sound quality is wonderful and for explaining the various ways to play 'ukuleles and the music from Hawaii - step by step! This week's discussion of the various ways you could connect with 'ukuleles was really helpful and I know that I'll spend the next week looking at my finger tips, nails, flat picks, etc., more closely than I ever have before. Aloha from the little fishing village of Ladner on the coast of the Salish Sea, in south-west British Columbia, Canada.

I’m the proud owner of two Kamaka tenors (the second, a long neck, arrives tomorrow). I purchased both in the last few weeks after hearing Corey play one and Brittni play the other. I’m counting on the magic I heard when you two played them making it’s way into my fingers. I know they will become two of my most precious possessions. Thank you for sharing your music and making these amazing instruments available to us mear-mortal players. You four sound so good together. Cheers from Salt Lake City.
