What’s the 22 Jump Street movie about?
Young cops Greg Jenko (Channing Tatum from Dear John and The Eagle) and Morton Schmidt (Jonah Hill from This is the End and Superbad) try to stop the Phantom (Peter Stormare from Fargo and Prison Break), a drug lord in the port of New Orleans, but they fail. Chief Hardy (Nick Offerman from Parks and Recreation and The Founder) then assigns them to investigate once again for Captain Dickson (Ice Cube from Boyz n The Hood and Ride Along). Their new mission is to infiltrate MC State University as students in order to dismantle the trafficking of a new drug: why phy, responsible for the death of student Cynthia Watson. They try to identify the dealer, but the trail they follow soon turns out to be a dead end: they then realize that Cynthia was the dealer and not the buyer in the photograph and finally discover that it is the Phantom who is supplying the drug on campus. Unsatisfied with the result of the investigation, they continue their investigation and end up tracking down the suppliers during spring break. They identify the new drug dealer: Mercedes (Jillian Bell), Cynthia's former roommate. They intervene while she is in a meeting with him and she is quickly arrested while the Phantom, after an intense pursuit, manages to escape in a helicopter, but Jenko just sends a grenade into the cabin which makes the machine explode.
