Just Spent 1100 on a magnflux.. and honestly this looks like a better way to do it.

Ya know what, I bet I can take the chainsaw chain “dust” from the bench at work from sharpening chains and use that, but since I’m planning on doing a whole V6 block/oil pan/potentially internals I might as well drop the $15. I wonder if you can put a thin layer of padding under the magnets to keep them from marring up the block surfaces.

Afyer playing with it a lot I found it needed a u shaped bar stock in between to get the field to work best

Yes. But put a bar between them.

Is that hooked to a power supply?what brand is magnets ect thanks

Yes. 12v .6 amps... but... I found o have to have a 6" steel BAR between the magnets for it to really work good... then it is short and you need to look under the bar. But it works. Can't recall brand. Amazon specials.

@@DiscoGreen I would be willing to bet that there is a way to wire the magnets in series to make a magnetic field travel from one to another and work as well as the $1000 machine.
