I've been using kindles since 2010 and I've only ever bought 3. and 1 of those was only bcos I left mine on the train (SAD) had nothing to do with the kindle dying on me. they are SO WORTH IT. they are so hardy. and the books are basically all discounted so if yall are on the fence DO IT
