Here I am going over the install of the new Fog Light Bracket Kit from 589 Fabrication with a set of Diode Dynamics SSC1 Lights. I will have many tools that I suggest linked below in the TOOLS and TOOLS CONT Link if you are interested.

Great video! Ordered some to fit SS3’s. I like what you did with the vinyl, I may try to find gray that matches the color of my truck.

Those look sick! Great install. Super good Idea on the reflective tape! Me- being a bit OCD probably would have swapped out those fasteners for some stainless Ones, and added some loc tite.

Thank you and it's stainless hardware with nylon locking nuts. 👍 I was almost thinking of swapping to black hardware but I like seeing the fasteners.

Glad they are stainless! Yeah I thought over Black fasteners too, but these look good. The Nylocks are good too/ The package looks well thought out.@@TonyTheTechnician

Thanks man!! Ya idk why the trailboss doesn't have fog lights but we won't get into that 😂 you know while I had the rotary Tool out and had that liner peeled back, I should have done the downtime cut 👍

@Downtimelost ya I checked out the stock fogs on a colorado at the dealership and couldn't really tell they were on. Probably help if it was foggy lol but these you can very easily see. And they have an option for larger lights as well

Those look really cool! How come you didn't use the SAE fog SSC1 that Diode Dynamics offers? Those produce a compliant fog beam pattern that is legal to use in traffic. These ones you have appear to use the wide beam pattern, which is more of a flood type that doesn't pass SAE compliance and can cause glare to oncoming traffic.

Thanks and I didn't want the sae fogs these havea little bit more narrow pattern then the fogs with a little more distance and minimal vertical. So unless you point these up at other vehicles you won't cause any glare to oncoming traffic. This is not a flood light. It's the pattern I feel is the best for what I use them for.

So for the sq1 they will be shipping very soon. For the sq4 they will be ready in a couple of weeks

Having a hell of time trying to get the wires through the grommet. Do you have any tips or tricks you did that worked?

It's definitely stiff but I just gave a couple of good pushes from the engine bay side the best that I could then from in the cab I just pulled pretty hard on one side of the grommet.

Question. Did you ever get the wire through the passenger side? I had the same issue not being able to get through the passenger side so I went through the drivers side as it had much more clearance to pull on from inside the cab.

@ivancasanova4620 yeah I ended up using a long ass screw driver to push through and kinda wedge it enough to where I can fit the wire through.
