I've played every far cry game. Was just taking a break for FC6 and scrolled KZfaq for a bit. FC5 is probably my favorite in the series. It's also the one I've put he most time into. When you rescue him he says his friend Bert recently left Montana to go and live in the desert. Where there will be no trouble, Bert Gumer is the main character in the Tremors series which takes place in a Desert town.

This might be a sort of direct way of pointing that the DLC is complete and is going to come any time soon. The entire concept of The Cougars, a local militia tasked with fighting off an oppressive regime, named after a high school sports team with an animal name? When shutting off the speaker switches for Sharky you can hear him shouting "Oh what a day! What a lovely day!" Just like Nux from Mad Max: Fury Road.

Actually, there was a Far Cry 2 reference in Far Cry 4. Sometimes when you loot a dead body or loot box, it will contain "Malaria Pills." The description for the item is "Starting a firefight with untreated symptoms can be as dangerous as a jammed weapon. The wise mercenary always has medication on hand." This is referencing the Far Cry 2 gun jams that would frequently occur when you pick up an enemies weapon And obviously, the malaria pills themselves are a reference as well

My favorite is Ratatouille. The rat shows up at a farm in Holland Valley. When you turn around, he looks surprised, standing up on his two feet, his arms and mouth full of food he is stealing, big round eyes and big nose. As soon as you move he runs away. All of this just like in the movie, that cartoonish sequence is hilarious.

I glitched my way in the blood dragon set and saw more of it that was underground. You can do this by going on top of the near by hunting platform then jump off of it facing the set and quickly deploying your parachute and if you close it fast enough you can enter it.
