As much as i hate to say this, i agree with you. Most releases have tracks that are very refined and distinct while also feeling connected, but most of FS's tracks seem to be either vague(in the sense that there's not a unifying theme or connection, just there to fill our ears), uninteresting, or not emphasized. My guess is that the old team was given a very short deadline to finish the ost before they were laid off, which lead to a rushed ost with most of the attention and passion given to a small number of tracks.
