This 23 Love Lane Heritage Hotel Review is done independently by me during my exploration of Georgetown in Penang. As I have always been fascinated by UNESCO World Heritage Site and Cities, this place has always been a favourite of mine.
Staying in Georgetown is also quite interesting because there are many beautiful places like this heritage hotel that is hidden away from the main streets. This is one of my criteria when I look for a hotel, and 23 Love Lane was perfect in many ways.
As the heritage hotel is literally unknown from the outside, it also cates to those who prefer a bit of luxury and heritage combined together. Prices are reasonable, but not your budget-friendly kind of place. So this hotel attracts a little more affluent guests.
With 12 suite rooms beautifully decorated individually, you will easily be transported back into a nostalgic era from the Colonial past. The staff are professional and friendly, always at your service. Food is different, compared to your regular hotel breakfast, while for local food, there's plenty of hawkers outside the main streets.
Overall, I have to say that staying at the 23 Love Lane Heritage Hotel has been one of the better places I've experienced in all my travels to Penang. Perhaps, if you seek something different, then I'm highly recommending this place, as a solo or couple traveller, looking for peace and quiet, yet in the heart of Georgetown.
