Thank you ! I've been on Vit D3 & K2 about 7 years and am a senior. It upsets me that our western medical practioners are not doing preventative medicine and take us off everything when we go in the hospital for surgery and medical reasons. It's like they want our health to go down so they can make more money for big Pharma and For profit hospitals etc...

They probably are looking to establish the patients body to standard conditions, where potential drug interactions are limited. I used to agree about the lack of preventive care, but my current direct experience is with a primary care and cardiologist who I find myself in complete agreement regarding Vitamin D3 and K2, as well as low carbohydrate and ketogenic diets. Just maybe, things are beginning to change.

Within 1 day of taking vitamin d3 my brain and energy is way up. But most importantly I developed psoriasis about 14 years ago when I had my daughter. Within 1 day I see a major difference. It usually takes over my scalp in the winter, it clears up a bit in the warmer months however I noticed that no scalps developed overnight like usual.

After going to ER on 05/28/22 due to Acid reflux/gastritits/ulcers, I was very dizzy/heart palpitations. I scored 20.5 ng/dl on Vit D. Doctor said to take 500 IUs. Nothing changed. I am 100% recuperated from gastritis due to natural remedies/diet. Lost 30 lbs; but dizziness was not going away. Had my ears checked; everything Ok. Doctors said it was anxiety. Until I watch someone's video who linked the low vitamin D with dizziness. Last Thursday 10/06/2022 (6 days) I started taking 10,000 IUs per day. Dizziness is going away; now I just have a mild sensation of a headache. Heart palpitations are gone. I have read the body takes time to convert D3 to be usable; so I am being patient with the results. I am also taking about 1000mg of potassium (from food); and 300mg of magnesium. Yesterday, 10/10/2022, I took a vitamin D test and will report the results. I am so glad this is helping. Cheers!

@@philipreilly6759 Hello. My 10/10/22 vit D test came up to 34ng. I increased the dose to 15,000 IUs per day since I learned that 10,000 IUs would just keep you where you are. It has been a bit over a month since then. I used the Dminder app to keep track and get a sense of my levels. By now, I should be around 60ng. Today 11/17/22, I am requesting my doctor for a new blood test to verify levels. I have been taking K2, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron supplements, and others also. Realized I also have insulin resistance, working on that with good diet, exercise, good sleep, and intermitent fasting (no food after 7pm to 10am next day). I keep drinking aloe vera juice: gastritis pains gone; dizziness gone, headaches gone. Heart palpitations gone. Once I reach 60ng; then I would decrease dosage to 2000 ius and see results. I learned you must drink at least 2 litera of water daily to help your kidneys filter all minerals and avoid build up of calcium in blood and kidney stones.

I do not eat fortified packed foods, grains included. I eat salmon tuna, sardines, eggs, and I take regular sunny days walks with an every other day supplement. I was very D3 deficient also B12. Symptoms were there, but I though, I was getting old. I also eliminated at least 90% of sugars and decreased my total carbs to less than 50 gr. Best thing I've done for my health. I feel 20 years younger, and I sleep better. My dr failed to educate me, so I took it upon myself. Luckily, I am an RN, who knows some about these things. Ironically, I was no paying attention to my own body complains. Thanks for the good lecture.

@@AaditDesai-wk3zk Sleep patterns are not the same in humans. We are expected to get a minimum of 8hrs. In my case, I always being an insomniac. For me, sleeping six to seven hours is good. With this diet my sleep has improved, but I still have a fewer poor sleep days. That said, at the beginning, with the keto diet, you may experience a few days of discomfort sleep included. This is your body's confusion with the changes. It does get better, and overtime symptoms of disease and issues, usually improve and even go into some kind of remission like diabetes. If you still have too much difficulty with your sleep, take note of what you are doing like eating close to bed, consuming more carbs than recommended, not eating enough fat, not exercising enough, etc. Some medications also interfere with sleep, some nutrient deficits too, confusion of circadian rhythm.I hope this helps.

interested in the statement that vitamin D synthesis is limited at high latitudes from Nomember through April. Since the solstice is around the third week of December, that range begins roughly two months before mid-winter and extends 3 to 4 months afterwards. Would have guessed this range would have had symmetry around mid-winter. I'd be interested in an explanation of this theory.

Good summary. A few notes: Wearing clothes prevents uvb from getting to the skin. Sunscreen blocks 90 percent uvb. Talking about vitamin D without discussing 25 hydroxy is missing the point. The 600iu RDA is fine for preventing bone disease and was established a long time ago. Along with 25 hydroxy of 30ng/ml. Now we know vitamin D is necessary for the immune system to operate properly. A more optimal health of greater than 50ng/ml. I take 5000iu D3 with a resulting 63 ng/ml. But if you have underlying autoimmune issues you may know or not be aware of 5000iu may be 20ng/ml. Hypercalcemia risk is overstated at 5 or 10,000iu D3, which is .125 and .5 mg D3. D2 plant based is not as well absorbed as D3. Due to half lives D3 should it should be taken daily possibly weekly. Expectant mothers should take it daily. Humans that are tribal or work outside have 25hydroxy of 60 to 80 ng/ml without supplements.

Sunshine vitamin or steroid hormone was the most powerful medicine on every living things on earth given by our CREATOR. SUN EXPOSURE The best way to get vitamin D3 is through sun exposure. Go outside and get some sun, especially in the mid-day when it’s the strongest. However, many of us use sun block, which is good for our skin but not so helpful when it comes to the production of vitamin D3. How do you recommend we maintain homeostasis of vitamin D , A , Magnesium and calcium when supplementing with these high doses of vitamin D. I know D requires magneisum to become active and that we should include k2 so that any calcium stays within the bone . Now also Vitamin A plays a role in this . Let’s say we take drops 4,000iu vitamin D with k2. I don’t eat any dairy due to an allergy and don’t get much calcium in my diet and sometimes find that supplementing Vitamin D makes me feel weird . Sometimes getting bone and joint aches etc … I’m thinking that maybe adding a few cups of almond milk per day can help the calcium levels . My vitamin D is low always usually 20 or less so I bought a vitamin D lamp that I will be using daily and supplementing once a day .

Multiply the 133.4 x 0.314 = 41.88 ng/ml. I would suggest you get your levels to at least 70 ng/ml. Please remember you MUST take Vitamind3 with its co-factors which are vitamin k2 (Mk 4 or Mk7), magnesium, zinc, boron and beta carotene form of vitamin A. I would urge you to read Jeff Bowles' book on the miracle cure that is vitamin d3 published in October 2019. He goes deep into vitamin d3, health conditions solved by vitamin d3, the co-factors to take and how much and what the optimal levels are to prevent or cure diseases.

@@DocSnipes Eh. I don’t have one or any health insurance. Fortunately I haven’t really had a huge need for it. I hope to get insurance soon, but then again, idk even where to start and feel leery of big pharma anyways. Bottom line tho is trust my gut and be proactive on my own Bcuz the pros don’t always know what’s best or do you right. And you kinda have to do that anyways when you’re not hooked up like that. I only take half a dose anyways. That stuff is too expensive and it’s not like I have to battle Chrone’s or anything major like that. Used to go to the local affordable doc in town on an as needed basis, but seems like there’s nothing like that out there anymore. It’s rip off mega clinics or whatever that either don’t know what they’re doing or charge you through the nose with hidden fees for things not even necessary. (Like send off for a staph lab test when I already know it’s staph and they didn’t tell me it was an extra $360 plus. I give up 🤷🏻‍♀️). And pointless to pay some member fee when you might go in once every 5 years or so for something minor. Well ok. Rant over I guess. At this rate I reckon I’m trying to stay in decent health until Medicare kicks in at age 62 or 65 or something. Idk. We’ll see. It seems like the same as any other typical OTC multivite with extra B stuff and some homeopathic herb stuff that some folks think helps with gut health. Imo it’s prob just an overpriced “fancy” vitamin I could’ve paid a lot less for at CVS. Lol. Or that plus a homeopathic probiotic sort of thing. More or less for daily maintenance. My guess is that it won’t hurt but it may not help as much as any of them claim it would. Something like that.

definitely never take the alcohol, its a poison to your system! and another thing to completely AVOID is coffee!! its a drug and a dehydrant, and it drives OUT all the B vitamins from your body VERY AGGRESSIVELY INDEED!! and you NEED a LOT of B vitamins to stay calm and rational. most pple have NO CLUE about this. so quit coffee/sugar/alcohol and take LARGE doses of Niacin (no flush variety) B3, its the HALLMARK holisitic remedy for paranoia of any type; well known to cure it! and magnesium gluconate or bisglyconate is excellent with niacin for this condition. I wd take 2-4 capsules of niacin (no flush variety is imperative) with 2 capsules of 200 mg magnesium before bedtime EVERY night. you will soon cut down/quit your meds if you do this; SOO much easier better for your body...get them at any serious health food store; I get the natural factors brand niacin and the mag product either at the health food store (groc stores wont carry such a specialized product) or on amazon.@@bleupapillons

Take a minimal amount of 4000 IU per day, together with fatty or oily food for good absorption of this vitamin D3. It is a very good habit to combine your vitamin D3 suppletion with good absorbable magnesium (like magnesium bisglycinate) and at least 100 micrograms of vitamin K2. Never use seed oils (aka vegetable or processed poly unsaturated fats or margarine. All these oils like sunflower, safflower, cottonseed, soy, peanut and other oils are very very sensitive to reaction with oxygen, and becoming rancid. The vitamin d 3 & vitamin d are different? Which one do I take?
@DocSnipes
@DocSnipes Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. Yes, vitamin D and vitamin D3 are related but different forms of the same essential nutrient. The primary difference between vitamin D and vitamin D3 is their chemical structure. Vitamin D2 has a slightly different structure compared to vitamin D3, but both forms can be converted by the body into the active form of vitamin D, which is called calcitriol. In general, vitamin D3 is considered to be more effective in raising and maintaining adequate levels of vitamin D in the body, as it has been shown to have a longer duration of action and higher potency than vitamin D2. For this reason, vitamin D3 is often the preferred form in dietary supplements and prescription vitamin D treatments. It's essential to maintain adequate levels of vitamin D for overall health, but before starting any vitamin D supplementation, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional to determine the appropriate dosage and form of vitamin D based on individual needs and health status.
