Make it spiritual practice to eat Prashad mindfully, thank god,be grateful. -one has to be calm, prayerful & thankful while eating food(prashad) & drinking water. Charge them with your prayers & affirmations. Be conscious. -You need to be inwardly stirred(tempest not placid at all), for how can I move IN, know thyself, the ultimate truth is a Sadhu. Ask what is right/truth that can move me to my Aatman, gives more deapth to find out the ultimate truth.
