Because they’re an extremely popular and visible group. Kpop fans always need something to hate on. It fuels their endless misery. I don’t think there’s much hate now. But during the Girls era…wow. I’m a new My (though I’ve always liked Aespa’s music), and I was astounded at all the negativity surrounding that release. People saying they have no stage presence, the dance break was awkward, the choreo was lacking in energy…what a bunch of bullshit. I love Girls. The dance break is iconic.

they're popular, they're pretty, their releases peak high on music charts, they have a lot of fans, they make a lot of money. they're all talented too which can't be said for all idols in the industry at this time. it's exactly the kind of group kpop fans love to hate on. plus, they didn't have the best stage presence in their first few comebacks so some people thought they deserved the relentless bullying.

It will be suicide for them. Like i am thankful Ningning able to cover her parts well but Savage is such a difficult to take since there's a double beats in Giselle's rap same goes to Thirsty rap, lines and rnb adlibs which is why they didn't included in their setlist.

SM should treat Ning right😅 they found a true gem, no wonder they did not let her go and the only sole survivor of SMrookies. She was destined to be in aespa from the first time they saw her in China, training in SM was just formality. look at her pre debut stages in China, you will know what I mean, and she already oozes so much and overflowing stage presence at such a young age, she knows how to project in front of the camera what more with the training and experience? So to new fans, now you know why she is 🔥🔥🔥 always, performing and singing is her PASSION and it shows every single stage🔥🔥🔥❤

Ningning was so amazing all throughout but i really have to commend her during next level. She covered a lot of giselle’s parts in that song on top of her own, a lot of them were right after the other as well but she did so well in singing/rapping all of them. I’m also glad she got to showcase a lot of her talents, she’s truly a main slayer!

If you still don't think Ningning is the best singer in Aespa after watching this, then you're simply delusional. America (and Japan) doesn't do dirty tricks like messing with her and Giselle's microphones and in-ears. That's why she always sounds amazing whenever she steps out of Korea. Karina on the other hand dont sing high notes. Ning hype the crowd, dance likeno tomorrow and its their first live ever with a huge crowd, she was a bit nervous and she was catching her breath, cuz Ning is their only salvation with the NO STAGE PRESENCE allegation. She saves the group.

Thank you for the video! Winter's extended high note + dance break in Girls at 5:33 and 7:05 was mind-blowing. Her stage presence is really outstanding here. Other members did amazingly as well. Overall great live band performance!

Karina and Winter may be the "better" dancers, but NingNing's stage presence is undeniable. I feel like with performances in Korea, audiences don't care if idols are lip-syncing because it's all about the visual and performance. But American audiences don't necessarily need the performance to look or sound perfect. They want charisma and charm, and live vocals for sure. And I think NingNing provides that for the American audience.

And obviously Giselle speaks fluent English which helps. I hope they can do more performances in America and become more comfortable performing, ad-libing, and engaging with the audience.

Ningning is a far better dancer than Winter now. Her dancing has leveled up so much it's kinda crazy. She can have dance battles with Karina now. Her dance breaks in 'Girls' and 'Spicy' are FIRE.

This just proves that Giselle also contributes big to the group. She may be the least popular among them but that doesn't mean she isn't a prominent member. I mean Ningning really did a great job covering most of Giselle's parts but Giselle just gives off a different vibe with her lines that make them iconic. And the small talks and interactions weren't as natural without their English-speaking member. Hope she's well now and be present in their next stage.

Despite Gigi being absent, it's amazing that almost all of the songs they performed were actually played by live bands! It's even crazier because Main Vocalist Ningning did Gigi's rap parts! I don't regret having her as my bias, she never disappoints despite having such a pure voice that can hit killer high notes! Karina was amazing during her center dance break and of course, Ningning aswell but we cannot forget about our Minjeong, she truly is stunning with her visuals, vocals, and dance! This performance was surely amazing, more performances and achievements to come to Aespa! Hwaiting~!

Though Giselle was absent, aespa did well filling in her parts throughout these live performances, especially Ningning! Ningning's energy, stage presence & facial expressions in addition to her amazing live singing, rapping & dancing make her shine the brightest! I love the sound of the live band too! It gives a different atmosphere.

Gov ball should PROVE to SM that NingNing is their ace/ all rounder… the way she shifted from main vocal to main rapper to cover majority of Giselles parts, and even out danced the groups main dancer in a lot of this show..GIVE HER MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO SHINE!!! I was so glad I was there in person to see these girls kill it

Her rapping was okay and how she outdanced Karina idu. Sometimes people love exaggerating her skills. She has high energy but her executions are poor

@@imasaiko_ I was in no way bringing Karina down, she is ridiculously talented and such a strong performer and star. I made. a comparison how mingling is the strongest overall performer of the group and can hang with Karinas dance ability yet gets paid dust.....
