I feel like the story behind this is the following: The vampire was lonely and everyone either feared him or wanted to kill him for who he was. However, a human girl from the town wasn't afraid and went to go see him anyways. She was very sick with an uncurable illness, why she is so skinny and gaunt in the first image. She wasn't afraid to die. So she wasn't afraid of him. She promised him that she would be with him forever so he wouldn't be lonely. However, since humans do not live as long as vampires. She later died. The vampire is now alone again and is remembering her words, "Forever" you said...

Vampiric love is painful... not unlike grieving, or separation anxiety. It will hold a death grip on your heart with its cold hand and chill your blood until you're sick. It cuts deep as any stake and leaves you on the ground in blissful agony. There is no passion so permanent in its capacity to scar you for life and fill your life with the true meaning of darkness. Forever, you said? Together forever. May the pain be eternal.

Snow swirled as icy winds howled through the trees of the dead forest that once bloomed with life. She had come to meet her lover, the one that had promised forever. The sound of a stick snapping brought her attention to a lone figure dressed in black. She gasped as the familiar figure drew closer. "My Love?" She asked her voice shaking with fear. The figure flashed a fanged white grin. "Yes, my dear tis I in my true form and I still wish to give you forever, but will you still take me as I am now?" He spoke moving closer. She looked into his emerald eyes that shimmered with tears as he inched his lips closer and touched her cheek. "Will you be mine forever?" He asked. "Yes..." She whispered against his chilled lips. With those words he sealed her lips with a kiss and bowed his head and sank his fangs into her soft tender neck that carried the scent of roses. She gasped and her eyes grew wide as her teary eyes lifted to the full moon that cast a silver glow upon the dark forest. The warm red blood soon trickled down her slender neck and she felt her loves embrace as she closed her eyes. Everything soon faded around her, but she knew, when she awoken, she would be given forever with her love as he had promised. Soon her eyes slowly opened, and she found herself in the cold embrace of the chilling night as snow fell on her pale cheeks. Her heart raced in her chest as she looked about in hopes to see her love but only found silence and the stillness around her. She felt a stinging pain in her neck and with a grimace slipped an icy hand to the piercing marks in her tender neck. She pulled her hand back and looked down to see her stained fingertips and the droplets of the sanguine blood. A sharp pain ached in her mouth as two sharp fangs slowly gleamed in the bright silver light as the gloom of the clouds peered from the faded moon. Her heart sank to the pit on her stomach she was now a child of the night as her love had promised but where was he? Tears simmered in her eyes as she called out to him, but all could be heard was the call of an owl nothing more. Her heart broke as fear clasped tightly to her chest. "Forever you said... But where are you?" She whispered with such sorrow upon her lips. Was she truly alone, had he truly abandoned her in this dark forsaken world? Cursed forever to be neither living nor dead.

My feet on the floor feel cool to the touch , yet I almost feel like I am floating. My night dress , swirling around my ankles, I come to see , hear and feel the strains of the music . It’s here where I feel that I am truly home , yet a stranger making me feel on edge. “Come , sit with me , “ he says . I sit and listen and receive a heady high , the music is euphoric. After finishing the composition, he leans into me , lightly kisses my moist lips. “ I want to give you the gift of life eternal, “ . I accept, “ Forever, you said . “ I take the bite and the elixir of life .
