Beyond's music planted seed to teach Hong Kong people what good music is. Few years later Anodize and King Ly Chee became a gateway for many teenagers to listen to heavy music. These bands may not get what they deserved in commercial sense due to small market here, but what they achieved (good music) and contributed to the music education (band culture) to HK people will forever have a special and important place in our heart...🤘🏻

Never thought I'd see Riz on 24 Talk. HK needs another hardcore wave, I miss the old scene, KLC, Evocation, YAU DONG, Fight Club, SEESAW,鐵樹蘭, I can't wait until more bands like that come out. Hope you're well Riz, stay safe and keep rocking and get your daughter rocking too!

@@kinglychee I still remember what you said in an interview..."HK people don't wanna get angry, instead they went to doom and gloom, they wanna stand in front of a post rock set for 45 minutes and let it wash over them" hahahahaha, something along those lines

That Webster Hall show in NYC was a lifetime achievement!!! It may also been a big reason that the band ended up breaking up…how in the world were we ever going to top that :-)
